Bad, really-really bad, and hard to watch. I don't have the words to describe that.

I've always said: "I never judge a man for a gunfight I wasn't in". Still don't.

I've also refused to "armchair quarterback" such events and let fools do that, while waiting on "real evidence".

With this snippet of video, and the equipment obviously available, and their actual reaction to gun fire, is glaring evidence, not "speculation".

A black eye on law enforcement no doubt.

I've met, and seen a lotta guy's just like that bunch. All hat, and no cattle. Unfortunately the military, and law enforcement have a lot of'em. There in the civilian population also. Big talkers, and slow walkers.

It is tough to watch. I have a Brother, BIL and several others in my famiy that are or were LEO'S. They, are ashamed of the actions taken by these officers in Uvalde. The country is going down the tubes. Every occupation in America is suffering because of this woke BS. We have people doing jobs that they should never be allowed to do because of it. Being a Cop is a job most people could not handle, but are being allowed to do so anyway. I had friends that were cops. They were chosen back in the day because they were strong MEN who were not afraid to put their lives in danger to protect and serve. Today we see Cops that are not physically fit to do the job. How is an overweight 300 lb. man going to run down a suspect? Females wearing uniforms in dangerous areas that place them in situations with Big dangerous Men. I know there are a few capable of the job, but most are not. They are there because of political correct BS.

Our Military and Police forces nned a few good MEN again.

Agreed, its been going on  a long time, and things like tazers promote this. No hands on the tough ones, just taze'em and cuff'em.
There's a lot more to it than that.

But then again concerning this event. Had the Uvalde Independent School District hardened the school, it likely wouldn't have happened in the first place.

There's plenty of blame to go around, and it should start there.

We have to be cautious, not to "paint all police with the same brush".  There are plenty who also are being given awards for heroism too !

  However, so far as the Uvalde departments are concerned, this doesn't look good at all.  They refused to help the kids, and kept Dad from doing it too!

A few years back I watched the dash cam video from the patrol car of a female cop.
She pulled the perp out of his car and placed him in front of the cop car.
He looked to be a foot taller than her and he gave her a hard right hand and proceeded to beat her nearly to death.

I wonder how many CHILDREN bled out while the cops sat on their thumbs??

A cop outside had the Chance to shoot this punk ,he saw him walking towards the school holding that rifle. But his superior told him no. That guy resigned this week.

The video I posted showed no organization, and zero leadership. The equipment visible in the released video, was enough to proceed, but they didn't.

DEE, do you feel like a Police/Combat dog or two would have helped in this situation any? Turn the dogs lose to find him and take him out. Or keep him boxed in. This punk should be put in an electric chair and fried, slow cook.

In finally seeing REAL TIME evidence void of speculation, there was no question of where he was, and with a room full of kids, and 3 adults, I don't see any advantage of sending a dog in, and being a retired K9 Sgt, I liked my tactical dogs.

I saw at least 2 ballistic sheilds there, and my move would have been 2 men with shields going in with the best two riflemen behind them using them for cover, and taking the shooter out.
I haven't seen the video of Border Patrol SWATs' tactics, but I suspect it was a similar version of mine.
You still take the chance of catching a round, but that is what I would have done, and I think the BP Agent credited with the shot did take a grazing round to the head.

There's still a high probability of taking rounds, but it is what it is. You go in and get it over with.

Some or that firing sounded like full auto.  Him or the Police? Is he dead or just arrested?

  I also recall seeing that video mentioned by Bugeye, where a female officer was badly beaten.  At that time, I thought that perp deserved being shot ! ..But how would that go over with the 'woke' idiots now?

There was a time in this country when Men were Men (acted like it), Women were Women (acted like it), and we new the difference. Now it's comon to see Males dressing up like women and women , like men, and our sorry leaders are telling us it's normal. We see jobs (especially) dangerous jobs that were once held by men (real men) that are also assigned to women, and woke men that are not suited for the job.. Simply put, they cannot handle those jobs. They are not physically and mentally designed to do so. You see Homosexual Women  (I guess) like Lori Lightheaded trying to run a city like Chi. How's that working? We see women all over America holding jobs like Police Chief, and wonder why those cities have cops that havent a clue how to perform their duty's. In Portland we have a Homosexual Mayor, and Governor who swings both ways. Good luck making Portland a great city to live in once again, or Oregon a great state.

We have several retired LEO'S on the form. I don't think they would have stood around while children were being murdered. As a matter of fact, I know they wouldn't. Things like this didn't happen on their watch. Don't expect things to ever be normal again until Men become Men again, And Women become Women.

At my age, I'm not likely to see that happen.

Nah, Lori lighthead is doing something about all the mass black on black shootings of everyone except their intended targets. She has in excess of 80 cops as her own personal armed security detail while disarming those who could defend themselves thereby cutting down on the casualties the right way by removing the thugs with their own medicine...

It was reported on Fox ,that one cop who went to use the hand sanitizer. Turned out to be a former Army medic. 
He should have put into that classroom ASAP. He new what to do.

Haven't seen the release date for the general public, but the Texas Department of Public Safety says the families will view the findings first.

While the TDPS, has bungled one press release after another, I'm counting on the "actual investigators", the Texas Rangers to have a clear, concise, non political, and "non emotional", finding of the entire event.

I have a great nephew who many years ago was the first LEO on scene at a restaurant where a bad guy was in the ladies room with a hostage, he went in alone and killed the bad guy, he had been on the force less than a year.

My wife has a niece and nephew who are LEOs, the niece is an agent for the TBI, and the nephew is a cop in middle TN.

Haven't talked to my great nephew, but Nancy's niece and nephew labeled them as cowards, with innocent blood on their hands.
