Shipping them to big liberal cities will overload their welfare system.  They are already complaining.  Abbot hopes this will wake up liberals to the border problem and close the border to ILLEGALS.  Legal immigrants have to have a passport from their country.  This puts the work on those countries to do background checks to see if they are criminals.  They also have a health screening.  This allows healthy, non criminals to come to the US to work or immigrate.  Many of the illegals can't wait on their own governments.  In Mexico, a passport and health screening can take up to a year.  That is why so many illegals.

It's better to ship them to the blue cities, maybe if the Dem voters start being directly affected they will change their mind in supporting the open border politicians they vote for.  It's easy to dismiss the issues when it's just the border states, and red cities that the Dems are distributing them to in the midnight flights.  I say we all share the pain.

Why should the border states take all the load. Maybe spreading it around will get enough people's attention that something will be done about the problem. Something like sealing our border, hopefully. "They just want a better life." Yeah, one that we pay for.

BS, they come over here to ride the system. They've been doing it for years. Government housing, welfare, food cards, free medical at hospital emergency rooms, while they work, and they send most of their check back to family in Mexico.
Most don't have any interest in becoming citizens.

in this area are the people that
exploit the border jumpers the worst.
Landlords, tote-the-note car lots,
immigration lawyers, money transfer
businesses, grocery stores, clothing
stores, automotive repair shops,
entertainment venues, etc. etc.
It's very similar to the local situation
with the black officials that have
been put in place to " serve the
underserved and underrepresented
community " then they get caught
by the FBI or whoever with their
hand in the cookie jar for graft
and corruption and bribery etc.
There's several in prison now for
such, and some that just got out

I wonder, when I read silly generalizations like the one above, how much time the writer has spent in NYC. Yes...there are some nasty dangerous places in the Big Apple;  They are   
Far outnumbered by “places of signigicance” be that historical, cultural, athletic, financial, religious. Yes, there are some very bad people in NYC. There is no surprise there.

Have to say I was initially tickled to read how Texas was sharing the burden of open borders with those who want open borders but no burden. But now I find myself agreeing with Kari Lake that it just makes it harder to kick them out as they’re now in deeper in our borders and able to get lost in the masses of the blue cities. Build the wall, enforce legal immigration, and remove anyone that isn’t here legally. That’s what would have been done to me in every country I’ve lived in outside the US.
