Put on a pedestal, and her ass kissed for 96 years, for no other reason than who her momma and daddy was.

Monarchies never impressed me. If I lived in England I'm more likely to have resented'em than bowed to'em. What I don't understand is, why the news media will do non stop coverage of her well after they get done with all the eulagizing, and burying.

The white side of my ancestral family fled Europe to get away from such, and both side of my family  fought to run'em out of America.

So now the English dumbasses have a king Charlie and can kiss his ass for a few years.

Ole queen Beth is on a level playing field now with her "royalty" counting up to zero. She'll either stand before "The Bema Seat" of Christ, or The Great White Throne of Judgement", and she'll get what she gets.

Both sides of my family fled and fought to run them out. I have never understood the mindset that causes people to fawn over "royalty" Royalty just means you were descended from the meanest bunch of SOBs in the country for a lot of years. Now it means you are a parasite with no real use.

She lived a long and pretty much useless life. Poo on pomp and ceremony.

So, now Charles is king ! Now Bob Smith and the UK subjects have their own Biden to deal with !  Never mind the Brits are already falling all over themselves, trying to kiss up to him..

Perhaps those two nitwits can join forces, sniffing hair.  Maybe they can form a hair-sniffing league.

No, I don't have much truck with royalty, not since we threw off their yoke... back in the 1780s.

Say what you will however, the queen has always maintained her decency and dignity...but she may be the
   last of the breed.

I remember reading when the Queen Mother was still alive, she was a person none of her children wanted to tee-off.
She had their utmost respect.

Yes, more than me. Graduated form high school in 73 when Nam was winding down so was never called and never cared to or needed to enlist at the time. However I never compared my sexual exploits to being as dangerous as serving in Nam unlike Trump.

Also unlike Trump, you inherited everything you got, collected farm welfare, and government grants, whined that you didn't get as much as you thought you deserved. You are stupid enough to vote for Joe Biden, and are just as anti American.

To me it is appalling to hear a royal title.

On the other side of the coin.  She represented the British government, at home and abroad.  She tried to be upstanding and tried to hold the monarchy in high morality.  She was at one time going to pass over Charles because he cheated on Diana.  Once she died and he remarried, things kind of settled out.  Yes, they are figureheads and hold no real power like they once did.  It is the Britons choice to keep the royalty, not ours.  It gives them pride and hope in their country.  She also represented the Church of England and tried to live up to that.  She invited Billy Graham over about 12 times, to preach revivals.  England today has a lot of far left loonies.

I'm not picking on you Bob, although I sometimes answer back when you condemn American traditions, such as
Our cherishing our Bill of Rights, especially the 2nd amendment.

You will note, I gave credit to the queen for doing her best to maintain decency and decorum for the crown.
Perhaps it is the old time inbreeding that has caused so many royals to act so weird.
Have they stopped that practice yet?

..And Prince Andrew wasn't alone on Pedophile Island, since it appears that there were plenty of American "celebrities" Enjoying the tender spices there also.
...Such depraved activities seem to be common among the "idle rich' !

From Guzzi;
"Yes, more than me. Graduated form high school in 73 when Nam was winding down so was never called and never cared to or needed to enlist at the time."

So, if that is how you behaved at the time...why do you condemn Trump for possibly behaving the same way?

I believe he also was quite busy at the time.

I saw a documentary on Queen Elizabeth on Fox last night and she WAS NOT a spoiled rich kid; she was raised as close as possible to normal parental standard,  which is hard , for some one in her level of society.
Those who helped raise her, and had great influence in her personality were common folks who worked hard for their income.
It was because her Uncle abdicated from the throne that she became Queen and her parent were loving, as common folk as possible in her raising style.

For any one to trash her as a spoiled rich kid ignorance at best and asinine at worst; it was the U.K. fortune that her parents were rulers, by chance, and loving parents who put family above rank , not hard cold , we ar royalty, like her parents , parents.

I don't believe ANYBODY is "royalty". Elisabeth was born into wealth and privilege that she did not earn, and was worshiped as someone better than the rest, for nuthin more than her bloodline.

There is ONE KING, and no queens.

I would just let them do they're thing. The UK has been our Allie for two world wars , and many of our little wars.
We beat them in 1776 and they just went home. Show some respect, they made the RR Merlin engine in our P51.
Gave it a lot of power.

Our allie in two world wars. You need to brush up on your history. They were gettin their asses kicked in WWI, and the United States bailed'em out.

They were gettin their asses kicked again in WWII, and once again the United States bailed'em out.

They've never carried their own weight, and they disarmed their own population every time. They dumbass liberal government never learns.

We've been protecting their liberal asses since WWII because they're government, and population, are still unarmed.

Like I said. You need to brush up on your history. Japan and Germany were allies. Americans didn't want in WWII after losing so many in WWI.

So to provoke Japan, FDR cut off Japans oil supply knowing it would provoke them. He knew almost a month beforehand that Japan was going to attack, but kept it quiet, and intentionally didn't set up a defense against it.

He knew the attack would bring Americans around to agreeing to get into WWII, and once again bailout England, and the worthless French.

"We beat them in 1776 and they just went home."

But they didn't stay there and we had to whip their butt again in the war of 1812. Also the reason they were able to supply the engines was because we had supplied them with guns so they could hang around long enough for FDR to get us into WW II. FDR had an ulterior motive for getting us there as there we were still suffering the effects of the Great Depression.

Correct! All of FDRs "programs" were keeping the United States in depression,  while the rest of the world was recuperating. War is good for an economy as long as it not being fought in your own country.
