He's loosing ground in the Ukraine, and loosing favor with Russians as he steadily depletes the military resources, and troops.

  The breakup of the old Soviet Union was so abrupt, that much corruption and "gangsterism", was ushered into both Russia and the suddenly freed client states (formerly satellites states).
 
    One thing should be clarified however.. When Biden made his demand that Viktor Shokin be fired..or no billion bucks,... "and what do you know..he was fired" ? That was back in 2016, when a different administration was in place.

I don't know much about the Zelensky administration, and I doubt many here do.  ..But clearly they were not installed until 2019, so trying to hang the Biden racket on him is not quite kosher..

He didn't jamb Starlink.  Starlink has over 3,000 satellites operational.  You knock out one, it might cause a glitch, but all the others are still active.  SpaceX within 24 hours fixed the jamb.  Also, he didn't knock out all power in Ukraine, just some.  Ukrainians are told to close windows and only use minimum lighting to keep them from knowing the power is on.  The average Russian soldier doesn't want to fight.  Some have been shooting themselves in the leg to be able to go home.  Russia had tanks and trucks that had not been maintained.  Their engines blew rings and smoked.  Some locked up.  Many were abandoned.  Russia's navy has had 20 ships sunk by Ukrainian missiles or drones.  They are able to export their wheat out of Odessa.  I read BBC news, and they actually have people on the ground over there.

No need to knock out satellites, just jam the signal in the locale they are operating in.  Iraq jammed ours, mostly in areas where they had command and control, trying to confuse our ordinance, but they had other means to get there besides GPS.  Also, blacked out windows do little to hide light from many night vision devices, they know where the power is still on.

And Just because Russia made power and communications outages in Ukraine temporary does not mean it was not serious.
Many talking heads got pretty worked up about it, and they are right. If you ever wanted a warning shot fired before World War 3, cutting ALL of a nation's power off, PLUS ALL of their communications off, including Starlink for any length of time at all only means one thing:
 
Russia sent a message, a very clear message that they have been playing nice all along, and as soon as Russia sees fit, they can simply black out countries. Nice of Russia to not actually destroy anything serious to accomplish this, but it was still done and it represents a MAJOR escalation.
 
Now we have Russia cutting off gas and proving they can cut the power too. What if they expand that to all of Europe, stacked on top of a gas outage? I don't think people realize how serious this is and just how well positioned Russia is to totally kick butt this winter. Russia could, and you can surely bet Western governments are going to blame Russia for the problems, not their policy and most of all the fact that the gas only got cut because the governments of those countries did not pay the bills.
Russia is NOT being overly aggressive here imo, the European governments are being aggressive by NOT PAYING BILLS, after the citizens paid them to pay the bills IN FULL. Most citizens paid their bills.
So Russia cut the gas. That's not aggression at all.... that's business.   Cutting the power sure is, but most of the current problems are not due to Russia doing anything that should not be done at all. It will be interesting to see where this all ends up, but my guess, due to the fairly obvious displays by Western governments that prove they want their nations destroyed for a "great reset" - is that this won't end in a nice place at all, and probably go push button nuke war next.
Most citizens in various western nations are just plain too stoopid and narrative dazed to consider this next scenario.
