They are also putting fentanol in a lot of weed now.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

That wouldn't be too hard to stop, if people would just swear off the stuff !

The one that seems most worry some to me, is the fentanyl that is disguised as candies etc..  Such crap can hurt or kill innocent people, especially little kids !

weak people can become phytologically addicted to about anything. I do believe pot is phytologically addictive. Though i dont believe its physically addictive. I smoked my share when i was young and never became an addict but then i drank a whole bunch of beer and booze too and never became addicted to that. Only thing that really got ahold of me was cigarettes. Personaly i think there may well be an increase in cud as tm7 has said but i think its mostly because of the way kids are raised these days. Most of them are screaming for attention and are raised with no moral standards and add to that its been told to them for years by OUR generation that its harmless and even good medicine. How many more heroin addicts would we have today if it was legalized and kids were told its harmless. Buy a pack of cigarettes and you have a surgeon general warning on them that it causes lung cancer. Smoking pot is probably harder on your lungs and they allow it to be sold as a harmless product. Kind of reminds me of the backwards laws on seat belts. In MI you have to wear a seat belt driving a 7000 lb pickup truck with a full frame and air bags.  but i can hop on a harley with a t shirt shorts and no shoes and no helmet and ride down the same road.

I have observed hoe addictive personalities can apparently come through genetics.  I have seen whole families who seem to be just ripe for all kinds of addictions.  Tobacco, alcohol, and any kind of dope, seems to truly grab them.

It does seem that if a person is born into such a family, they ought to swear off any addictive substance, even before they start..and don't even consider trying anything that could be addictive.

Then too, there seems to be the "cultural" thing.  I decided that I would not participate in the alcohol thing, when I was a teenager, and of course that included other habit forming things..except I smoked a pipe for about a decade in the 1950s/1960s era.
So, my son doesn't have alcohol in or around his home..just "normal" to him.  What a person grows up with, is
   normal to him.
Of my 3 grandsons, one will have  a rare, occasional beer..something he apparently picked up from his
mother's side.  They have been separated for 30 years, and although she drinks little, it is something done
in that family that is not done in mine..  She is a nice lady though..

Although my brother & his kids do drink, they don't do so to excess.  In fact, I don't know anyone in my direct
family who is addicted to anything, one reason I suspect family culture plays a part in such.

you must have set a decent example for your son to go through the miltary and see combat and still not to ever a
been a drinker. When i was in people who didnt drink and i mean about daily made other nervous and were ostracized, Heck when I worked for the navy chief it wasnt out of the ordinary that he broke out a 12 pack of beer at lunch time on duty. Most days the beer got broken out before the guns were put away and the dirt cleaned off of us. Bottom line was with that group if you didnt drink you didnt last a month. different day and age though. I know now the military frowns on excessive drinking. Back then 50 percent of the people with more then 10 years were alkys.

One small correction..my son did not serve..but his son, (my grandson) is the one who served in Iraq.  No he didn't drink..and didn't miss it; same as myself.
I don't know if it is time or branch...but I don't recall drinking, or ever being encouraged to do so, when guns
    and ammo were involved.

My explanation to other troops and later civilian co-workers who tried to convince me to drink along with them, was the same.  I simply informed them.."I don't tell you, that  you cannot drink..so don't try to tell me I should drink !"

That seemed to be enough for any reasonably bright person to understand..the others I didn't care about..

Not surprised.
.

Huh! I thought CUD was partly digested food returned from the first stomach of ruminants (Cows and such)  to the mouth for further chewing.

Or an oil field servicing company, in purple trucks. Those who work there say, don't let the CUDD get you down.
