Wouldn't work here in TN, the tags are for antlered and antlerless, due to the existence of antlered does I'd guess.

Read it to my wife and daughter. We all had a really good laugh. It probably wouldn' fly here in Oregon either even though our gov. is confused and, although I don't like it, the probable next one is too.

I don’t believe there is a large number percentage wise of antlered does. Strange and somewhat cool/interesting  IMO... I shot a doe one year only to find out it was a buck that his ears were hiding his just over 3” spikes. I was still grateful for the meat. Somehow I knew a large racked buck would come around and I was not disappointed. Had to let him walk as I’d already filled my buck tag.

Weather has cooled off. Saw 3 really good muley bucks this morning. Standing in a ranch road together. Guess they were discussing evasive action since archery season opened the other day.

No problems in this region.
So many trophy hunters now
that many won't shoot a doe
even though a lease agreement
might require it

From what I've heard,  the western
part of the state with huntable
mule deer populations will have
trophy restrictions in place either
this year or next.

I wish the big antler fad would fade
away,  and those that meddle with
our hunting and fishing would take up
another fad hobby and get off the
lakes and out of the woods.
The big bass fad of 30-40 years ago
nearly ruined pleasure fishing for many
in this region.

Post your corn piles and there's no explaining needed:
