Hurrican Ian hit Florida Thursday 9/29/22.  On Saturday 10/1/22, the temps here went from the upper 80's to the mid 60's with a serious drop in humidity.  We need to dry out and the temp drop is refreshing.

You really didn't have to change it for me. I was just asking if your winter is lows of 56 and highs of 72.

It's 38 here this morning as I write this at 7:45 AM. Should climb to low to mid 70s.

54 right now and supposed to make it to 69. This has been more like the falls we had back up until the earlier '90'S when fall and winter began to be dryer---and dryer. Our rainy month would be September and it could extend into November and play havoc with the fall harvest. September was cooler than normal and the rain returned this week. I have had 1.8" as of this morning now that everything is mostly dormant from the cooler than normal conditions.

Ha!  We had 10.48" in THREE (3) days at the tail end of LAST month!

This is the sunny southwest and we will never have a hurricane although we do get a little moisture up here from one now and then. You are welcome to the moisture and the problems that accompany it. Most of my weather problems can be solved with a dust rag.

Thats about what its been here for a few weeks. Mid 50s in the day in low to mid thirtys at night. We actually had some snow flakes in the air 3 days ago. The fall colors have peaked and most trees are losing there leaves. This is always a good time for me. Deer hunting is getting close and in about a week all the tourists will finally going home and our town will be peaceful again.
