I work at GSF (Golden State Foods) and we supply to all the MacDonalds in Oregon and Washington.We are in a labor dispute and I need your help.I am the Head of the negotiating team and What I NEED from ALL of YOU is to goto a MacDonalds near you and as you place an order or just stop in and tell them that you hear GSF is going on a STRIKE SOON!

     I disagree with some of the post.  If it is worth having it is worth fighting for.  Seems like you never get anything worth while unless you fight for it.  If you fight and lose at least you will be able to live with yourself.  Sure wish you success PJ

Well I for one am not going to stand back.Its time to stand up and fight back. :twisted: GSF is not (MacDonalds) ya MacDonals took a cut in the stock market but, GSF is making more money than they say they are.Cost per. case went up for MacDonalds that means GSF is making more money! MacDonalds is not.We work are ass off for what.......less money....BS.....They told us they would give us a raise mid- 2001.

Good news for us I just found out that Sumner GSF in Washington,CID in California and now GSF in Portland is all coming up to the end of our contract.This means that if we time it right all three will walk out. Let's see how well they do with that.Someone posted that "old school fear tactics don't work"ya ok we'll see how they like the whole WEST COST ON STRIKE :eek: MacDonals won't like that and will be pissed off at GSF for letting it go this far. :wink:

Teamsters Local 117 in Sumner Washington *WIN'S BACK PAY*

Golden State Foods owes its employees as much as $500,000 in back pay,according to an independent arbitrator .Golden State managers illegally changed the pay scale of its employees.Now they must change the pay scale back and pay the employees what they really earned.Golden State started its first day under a Teamster contract by breaking it,management clearly needed a lesson.Someone here said,"Old school fear tactics don't work anymore" and I should "BE CAREFUL if I make a mistake ..the only task  you'll have to remember in my next job is to decied if the meat goes on first or the cheese....at minimum wage !
Well I got news for you the two managers who cooked up the failed pay scheme are now looking for new jobs.
Perhaps,they should practice saying the phrase: "Do you want fries with that?" at minimum wage      :shock:

You must feel great.  Getting some extra money will be welcome.  But it must feel great knowing that you won the battle.  A good fight  every so often does a man good.  I guess this will help help your contenderenchoreitius.  Still nothing on the 162 gr. and the 175gr.  This weekend for sure.
