Campbell’s Chunky soup will make you go blind :)
« on: October 19, 2022, 11:32:07 AM »
Had a 19 oz can for dinner yesterday. Spicy chicken and bean, while very good there were only 5 chunks of meat? About the size of a bullion cube on average. Hence you will go blind looking for the meat. To their credit, it expired oct 2019 and was still rather tasty...

Haven't bought any campbells for a while
There used to be a big campbells plant
about an hour east of here that made a
good bit of what this area consumed, but
I don't if they're still there or not.
I wouldn't be surprised if they made it
over the line in messyco now.
Even the long time iconic local bread
bakery is messycan owned and
much of the baked goods come across
every day.
Mostly make my own soups and stews now.
Campbell's used to have some really good
products before they all got to be nearly
$2.00 a can
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Are a huge pot of chili today. Frito pie for dinner and some will go in the fridge, the rest will be packed away in quart freezer bags and frozen for the future, if there is one?
