Fake Amo Site
« on: October 25, 2022, 07:28:34 PM »
I was searching the web today for small pistol primers, and ran on to this site that had some.

Heads up! It is a scam.
The domaine I saw was called Reloader World.com.

These pop up every once in awhile.  Prices and stock too good to be true. Also they want payment in odd forms.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

there's a good many scammers out there waiting for victims.
the guy in houston, Optics and Ammo has been a known scammer
for years, and just recently got charged and is shuffling through
the legal system. yet his site is still up and many give their
CC info daily and end up regretting the day they ever heard
of him. he creates defamation lawsuits for those that complain
or file charges.

if they won't take a regular credit card or have numerous BBB
complaints, i'd pass on trying to order from these jokers

for whatever reason, the punishments for scamming or
theft are way way to light  throughout the nation IMO
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

It uses Zelle for payment:

Can you get scammed using Zelle?
The banking payment service Zelle acts as a quick and easy way to send money or pay for purchases, but its transactions are instantaneous and irreversible. And because Zelle scams require authorization from a bank account holder, some victims of fraud have had trouble getting their money back from banks.

Will Zelle refund money if scammed?
Immediately report suspected unauthorized activity to your financial institution. Because you did NOT authorize a payment, you are typically able to get your money back after reporting the incident.

Is it safe to accept Zelle from strangers?
You should not use Zelle to send or receive money from strangers. Although Zelle is a safe platform for sending money — it uses bank-level encryption and advanced authentication and monitoring features for security — it is not designed for commercial transactions.
