From Dee;
" First you have to figure out what a "Messianic jew" is. It is an "invented" religion of a conglomeration of beliefs taken from Judaism, and Christianity. The Jewish religion denounces them as apostates, but some Christians believe them Christians out of ignorance, while the "Messianic jew" himself claims not to be Christian.
* ..And of course, the Pharisees said Christianity was a "man made" religion, following a "mixed up mystic" from Gallilee...but nevertheless, the Pharisees are gone and the faith in Jesus is alive and well.
Of course, the bulk of the Jews reject the beliefs of the Messianic Jews, they also reject our belief in Jesus as our Savior. I am troubled that you would call other Christians "ignorant", simply because you do not agree with their exegesis.
It is man made, much like "mormanism" . That is where the confusion comes from. It is a false religion, and Cahn is as close to being a "rabbi" as you or I.
Sorry you see it that way, have you done a complete study of the subject? It is clear that these pioneering Jews have accepted Jesus as being their savior..thus they are called "messianic". Sure, they have some different practices an customs...but then the very early Christians, had some practices and customs which echoed the Jewish culture.
Some Christians dwell on "end times prophecy" and scoop up anything, written by anybody, concerning the matter.
..Some do, but not all, certainly not myself..
God on the other hand says nobody knows when the end will come, and simply says "be ready".
Did you hear me offer any hour, day, year or century ? I think not!
But some as I said, are into "end times prophecy authors", which the authors have learned will make them rich."
Some are into that, but you won't see me handing them any money..

The OT prophets predicted that;
The Jews would be regathered in the land(Isaiah 11:11-12)
The state of Israel would be re-established (Isa 66:7,8) (Ezek 37:21-22)
The Hebrew language would be revived (Zeph 3:9)
...And in the New Testament, Paul himself tells us that the Jews would be saved..
25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers:[a] a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,
“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27 “and this will be my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.” (Romans 11:25-27)
Note: the "fullness of the gentiles" is the church age... Hermeneutics tells us that scripture divides history in roughly 2,000 year
increments, which implies that the church age could be coming to a conclusion. *So the salvation of the Jews is off to a modest start,
complete salvation could take 10, 100 or a thousand years.
BTW; None of this has anything to do with the Mormons..
