Well, there's nuthin like old Lincolns, fitted with equally old Lincoln parts. "Classic" Chevys, and Fords are pretty straight forward.
Old Lincolns, and Cadillacs are complicated, and expensive. Even the windows.
Reminds me of a conversation I had back on the 25th of August, when I said: A 20 year old Lincoln Town Car. Parts for repairs, AND LABOR equals VERY DEEP POCKETS, or a future "yard ornament".
All the wiring, all the electrical switches, all the electric motors (windows, air conditioning, heating ducts, ect), electronic ignition, and other electronic components, are all 20 years old.
SO! You still have dozens of 20 year old switches, motors, and electronics to look forward to replacing. YIKES!
