Deer/ground sausage meatballs and meatloaf

4#’s total, 50/50 on meat. 4 eggs, Italian and plain bread crumbs approximately 1 and a half cups, 4 oz Parmesan, 1 and a half tbsp parsley, powdered garlic and onion each, Seared the meatballs in olive oil then added a cup plus of white wine and heated till alcohol was cooked off, added tomato paste and crushed tomatoes and cooked down a bit. Put meat balls in a casserole dish and covered with sauce yet saved 3-4 cups for the meatloaf. Put the meatloaf in a glass bread container and cooked with the meatballs, took the leftover sauce and poked holes in the meatloaf and covered with sauce and cooked till done. I also mixed chopped onion and green pepper and added to the meatloaf before cooking and also greased the bread pan. Kids and wife ate the meatballs on buns with melted mozzarella. I sliced the meatloaf added a slice of American cheese and had mine on onion rolls with mayo. Fabulous...

Next time toast your bread dark brown
and spread with that vegetable cream
cheese while your slice of meatloaf is
browning in your hot skillet
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Funny, I picked up 4 packages of ground pork and took 2 packs of frozen venison out for tommorow. I fry my meatballs first then finish them off in the oven or on the grill if it’s summer.
