Last panfishing trip of the year
« on: November 08, 2022, 05:40:36 AM »
We took the kids to the park last Sunday afternoon. The wind had almost quit and it was beautiful weather but the fish were not hungry at all. The 14 year old GG daughter managed to catch two very small ones and that was it. I got to watch my bobber diddle around while my bait was stolen a few times. Everyone but me stuck to one spot but I went hunting around the lake. I got some exercise and that was it.

Trout stocking should start the middle of this month though and we can go again. Like with everything the state does we get the short end of the stick and around about a third of the times of what gets stocked north of I-40 year round. It's been two months since the last here while it happens ever two weeks at the places up there. I have sent e-mails to the game department asking why and have never received a reply.
