The crazy price o' gas-oh-leen
« on: November 10, 2022, 02:01:51 PM »
I needed a wee bit of lawn
mower gas today for later
in a day or two, and checked
the gas station online price.
IIRC it was $3.09
Arriving at the station, the big
sign says $3.11 ( or $3.12- I'm
forgetful at times)
It was actually $3.07 at the pump
and when I paid

Poor vendors can't keep up
anymore either

Today in Mesquite Texas
Online showed $2.83
At the station it was actually $2.79
and has gone up a penny to $2.80
since evening has arrived.
Diesel is $4.46 this evening.
Didn't think to check it earlier

$3.59.9 As of Friday here where it first comes from the earth. We are told our prices are high because of supply costs.

As I drove home from the MSP airport I noticed in St. Peter MN gas was 2.80 a gallon. In Mankato and Lake Crystal it was in the 3.30s. In St. Peter there is a big new quick trip, I'm thinking gas war.

So much for "domestic oil production" being reponsible for gas prices.  FYI oil production (domestic) has remained esentially the same since 2019 and is actually forcasted to hit an all time high soon...  Of course your "facts" may vary....

Bidet has tried to keep prices down by releasing the Strategic Oil Reserve, which is rapidly being depleted.  People have pent up demand for driving after Covid.  That is why we are using more than we are producing.  Stopping drilling and fracking is very dangerous to America.

Around here it was 1.60 and would rise towards 1.80 if bought after midweek.

It was $1.79 here when the senile old SOB we have now sat down in the whitehouse chair. Now it is $3.59. I saw some idiot newscaster the other day saying gas prices had increased 50%, obviously a student of new math.

It’s the new math. Since $1.79 is half of $3.59 that’s 50% right? I mean left :)

Topped off yesterday and it has dropped to $3.29. Oil prices were climbing yesterday so it won't last long.

Gas here is barged in so we are stuck with a constant price throughout the winter and spring months.

Diesel in my area is close to 6 bucks a gallon yet unleaded 87 octane is 2.40 up to 3 bucks a gallon. Butt, hey, fuel prices are what really  matters right?
