I've never understood stood why some of you guys do that, but you and others have on occasion wished for Christs' second coming, which will be preceeded by suffering, and destruction, then judgment.

God will get here when He's ready. I enjoy the time He's given me here. :-\

  Do what?  Wish for His return.. what's wrong with that?  "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride".  We can widh all we like, he won'r return until he is ready.  NO SWEAT !

God will get here when He's ready. I enjoy the time He's given me here. :-\

   Sure we can enjoy our time as much as possible, but an active Christian would try to convince others of their need for Him.  He not only gave us the "great commission"(Matt 28) but even suggested that we "compel" them to come into his church (Luke 14).

   A dedicated Christian's relationship to Jesus' church should be.."standing on the promises..not just sitting on the premises".. ;) ;D
