   technique of "smudging" *or burning sage ..just to purify the room you know..

Couldn't get the link to work, so looked it up. In native American culture sage is burned to drive away evil, so in her case it may have had a negative effect.

Yes...Nancy Reagan from what we understand, did consult with an astrologist now and then, but there seems to be no evidence that it moved Ronald one way or the other.
