every state in the union is divided from within. Until that changes theres no way your going to get states to cooperate with each other. It would be impossible because there would be just to many people or states that want to be in charge of it and other states that would be interested but wouldnt hang themselves out to dry or lay it on the line. Few of us old rednecks can talk but we arent the majority anymore. Even amongst young republicans how many people would be willing to give up there jobs. Keep in mind that our economy is intertwined across the border of all states. Without steel cars dont get made. Without cotton we have no underwear to wear to work. We can make cars in michigan but we still have to eat so we need cattle. I just dont buy that those few states can close there border and produce everything they need. Build the factories to do it. and build the miltiary to defend it and do it cooperating with each other when we know ALL politicians are crooked and power hungry and games will be played. Im no economist so i dont really know if it could happen but then again in dont know if theres any on here that know either. Some that want but crap i want alot of stuff i will never have. Ive said it many times on here before. Our strenght is in numbers and our vote. Doesnt matter much what state were in or what race or religion we are. There are good and bad men. Republicans and democtrats in every state in the union. I served the united states of america not michigan or florida or maine. The UNITED STATES is in bad shape right now but i think its comming together that fixes it not spliting even more. One things for sure you will have one hell of a fight on your hand right in your own state before this could ever happen and i dont see winning that let alone organizing 5 or 10 states. This conversation has come up every year in the over 20 years ive been here with people claiming its going to happen but i havent even seen someone try to light the spark to start it. Just talk. Id bet 20 years from now that ill probably be in the ground and some guy will be on here saying there state is going to leave the union. Me skeptical?? id say thats the biggest understatement of all time.

Where your mistake dee is thinking NOBODY cares. Lots of people like me live in other states that care but cant do crap to help you. What you have is hell. I could say nobody down there cared when something happened here and it would be true but nothing has happened here as bad as what you have to live with. One things for sure telling people that care that they dont pisses them off and thats not what you need. You need every sane thinking conservative to be telling there leaders with there vote that there fed up with this. I know it probably doesnt seem like crap to you but its sadly your best weapon right now. Bottom line is i live over a 1000 mile away from you. Tell me what you expect me to do??? How am i suppose to help?? Even if you started a war this old broken body couldnt make it down tha far to help. IF its you hate the governor of this state or some other stand in line. If you dont like whos in Washington stand in line. but one thing is for sure. Were both in the same line. I feel for you for being in the front of it but theres nothing i can do to change that. Where your mistake dee is thinking NOBODY cares. Lots of people like me live in other states that care but cant do crap to help you. What you have is hell. I could say nobody down there cared when something happened here and it would be true but nothing has happened here as bad as what you have to live with. No Lloyd, thats not what I think. Nobody on GBO, including myself, can do anything about this border mess. But when the law is turning illegals loose 4 blocks from m house, in the middle of the day, or the middle of the night, because its against federal law to jail them, i find it ridiculous that northern cities  and states are wanting federal aid over a few hundred, so im gonn mention it. When I talk about states, I'm talking about for the most part "state governments". They never offer assistance, whether it be man power, or funding. All they do is whine. I don't expect any liberal democratic citizens, or democratic to help, but the Republican led states aren't stepping up either.
Florida has, and is. Even furnished law enforcement personnel.

It is a mistake to assume that only those illegals bused north are there. Yes they have 4 states to cross into when entering the US illegally but they definitely do disburse once into the US.

We have no shortage of them here in Alabama. Ya can't go into a store anywhere and not hear them jabbering among themselves in Spanish. And that sure isn't the only language heard from illegals around here, just the most common.

I'm sure we don't have as many as Texas does and darn few if any use Alabama as an entry point but we sure are a final destination for plenty of them.

dee i cant argue that its not wrong or wouldnt piss me off if it were in my back door. I know your not blaming me or anyone else here for not doing something because bottom line is neither can you or your next door neighbors. I know its frustrating but it frustrating too to hear every time something that sucks happens in the south the first thing you here is its the yankees fault. Look a political map of michigan. Youll find a sea of red with a few islands of blue. Its like that in most startes that have the dishonor of having there votes go to the liberals. Truth be told theres a crap pile of liberals in every southern state too and even in texas. Look at a political map of the whole US and youll see the same thing. Its not the north against the south its your neighbors in the city against us in rural america. Even in the states that go republican its usually by single digit percentages.

Before your going to change a single thing in texas regarding this border problem job one is getting ALL of texas to stand against it. Its those liberal neighbors of yours that are more responsible then anyone from maine or ny. or anywhere else. Now  if you could get every person in EVERY BORDER STATE to take a stand you might get somewhere. This sure aint the place to raise hell about it. You have maybe two or three of those (censored word) pansy ass liberals on this forum. The rest of us are already on your side and need no convincing.

My wife gets pissed at me. I suffer every day. Had more operations then i even keep track of anymore and have another major one feb 1. I dont even tell my sisters anymore or complain about the pain. Why? Nobody really understands it because they dont feel it (get the similarity) . My wife would love to here my bitch so that she could piss and moan everytime she gets a paper cut.  I really think relief is coming for you. I personally dont hold much hope with just the house in our control. but i think if we get a republican president in office it will change. but the bottom line is millions have been let in and getting them back out will be about impossible and like any immigration they will eventually spread all over this country and we ALL will pay for this till God calls us up. Another thing i dont think many consider is its not in the best issue of any polititian to have this stopped. Nope not even republicans and nope not even texan republicans. Why? because this is a major vote getter for both sides. If it stops today those polititians that dont really give a crap about you will have to find another way to convince you to vote for them so this border issue for them is the best thing that ever happened. I dont really think any polititian would be will to risk on single vote to stop an illegal from walking across your back yard. Its why you will never see the southern states unite together. You have great leaders like desantist and abbot but is mississippi or gerogia or oklahomas people in power going to want to take a back seat to someone else. Actually Lloyd, it's got almost nuthin to do with any of the liberals here in Texas. Their sick of the illegal invasion also.

THEFEDERALGOVERNMENT IS CAUSINGTHIS! Nobody else. The border patrol has become nuthin more than "bell hops" holding the door open for thousands of illegal adult males coming across a day.

The Texas Dept of Public Safety is equally overwhelmed chasing stolen cars, home invasions, vehicle loades of illegals ect.
The sheriff's offices which are historically undermanned are trying to backup State Troopers, and city police on burglaries, home invasions, car jacking, and murders on a daily basis.

I'm not frustrated, I'm aware. I'm not discouraged, I'm alert. I'm not dellousional, I'm smack dab in the middle of reality.
And if you're not here, you truly don't get it.
