I ordered something from eBay. An old SCIFI movie (Zardoz), starring a young Sean Connery RIP. And it came from the UK. It was still faster than our USPS. Never would have believed it.

Not uncommon, I have ordered items from Eastern Europe and China over the past twenty years and have found that they are often , a goodly bit faster than USPS, UPS and FedEx.

Best was, almost exactly 20 years ago, I ordered a case of gun cleaner from South Africa, it was here in little over one week, and the box, getting ratting but still in one piece, was literally covered with South African postage stamps.
No computer scanning there. ;D

The USPS has a lot of problems.
I've had packages stolen by employees,
had things shipped that went just
nearly right by the destination, and
was sent to a facility many miles
in the opposite direction, then back
to the postal facility they passed
right by thus taking an extra day or
two for delivery. I've been amazed at
the circuitous routes some packages
take when checking the tracking
numbers.
That's done so other postal employees
can handle the package and lay claim
to being an integral part of the delivery
of the package, thereby justifying their
job . There's no other logical explanation
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
