...Anybody here signing up ?
« on: January 11, 2023, 01:17:55 AM »
Anybody here signing up to be composted?
I guess the Demonrats are pushing this latest of their brainiac ideas. Compost grandma, then bring her home to grow you roses, sweet potatoes and carrots...and pay some democrat's brother-in-law $7,000 for the composting job.

Shucks..maybe you could use grandma to spike your grape vines...then at your next wedding or birthday party. you can hand out 'party favors' of grapes grown by feeding on grandma.

   https://www.biocycle.net/connections-should-we-compost-grandma/

The idea would seem ludicrous in normal times, but these are far from 'normal' times...Almost every idea introduced by these Gaia worshippers is abnormal..
Killing pre-born boys and girls, pedophilia, child mutilation, a plethora of sexes, and not being able to tell a man from a woman anyway..

They seem to rival one another with competition of.... 'who can be the most repulsive'?

  Along with that they seem to be plumbing the depths of the stupidity of their base;

seemingly testing just how revoltingly stupid they can be ...and still have their brain dead base still support them..

I've asked my family to cremate me, and bury what's left. Myself and Linda already have a burial plot and tombstone. I don't want to be turned into a tattoo either.  :P

Buried at sea? How about being shot into deep space and no orbit? It wouldn't take much of a rocket to do this. If you had the money. I think this has already been done once by the ESA. Completely away from the Earth and drifting into the Cosmos. In a coffin like module. Count me in.

My parents and grandparents are resting in a huge mausoleum building, behind marble facades and bronze plaques. In a hundred years they will likely be "relocated" to make way for a condo development, or something.  My wife and I have the ashes of two of my stepsons in urns, and no idea what to do with them.
Composting or soylent green or any of that isn't really appealing; it actually seems disrespectful. My oldest daughter has connections to people with a natural burial, the biodegradable cardboard box, and a determined area set aside for burial. The area is left wild and natural. A small memorial, releasing ashes to the wind in a favorite place, or burial in a natural place,  seems more respectful of a life passed, but I really don't know what the answer is.

I managed the local cemetery for more than a decade, and considered setting aside a "scattering garden", for those who wanted to scatter ashes..all to be aloowed at a nominal fee $50-$100..
A local funeral director suggested I not bother, since he was burying at cemeteries that established such scattering gardens, and folks were just scattering there at will, paying no heed to registry etc...or fees.

In recent years, laws have been passed allowing scattering nearly anywhere...check on that where you are. My sister and Brother-in-law are scattered in a lake they enjoyed between Seattle and Alaska, they have a grandson with them now.

A few years ago in my own cemetery , I had an old fellow who wanted to scatter his wife's ashes on a dear friend's
grave..I couldn't give permission, so I turned my back and got busy at something else.

He waved as he left...with the folded, empty box under his arm.

I believe it was Mark Cuban who said, the biggest waste of money in people's lives, are weddings and funerals. Totally agree. For the last 2+ years, have worked for a casket distributer, hauling caskets to funeral homes. Delivered caskets in the $8,000-$10,000 dollar range. Add another $3,000-$5,000 for a service, lot of money. Funeral business is a billion dollar industry.  I hear some saying, I want to honor my mom or dad. My mothers words, not mine, respect/honor me when I'm alive, after I'm dead, F-you!!(my mother was a straight to the point type of person)   I'm getting cremated, told my sons, you can spread my ash's on Lake Erie were I spent lots of hours walleye fishing, or in the back of my property now, were my dogs are buried. Either way, I'll be happy!

I’ve got it in my will to be cremated, just don’t know yet exactly where I want my ashes scattered. Once I decide, I’ll put the GPS coordinates in the will as well. Like the thought of my ashes being absorbed into the ground and into the surrounding trees, I’ll become part of the forest. That’s comforting to me.

I feel much the same way..I am scheduled for cremation..our gravesites and monument are in place, and my ashes will be beside my late wife's ashes.
Of course, those are only ashes..I will join her as soon as I breathe my last..however/whenever that may come..

I guess I could care less if they threw my body in the ditch after I died and let the buzzards eat it.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.
