Last year there was a several picture's of a plane at Toledo Express Airport unloading passengers at the corner of the field, well away from the terminal. A couple bus's were there picking up the people as they came down the boarding stairs. There was no airline markings on the plane, so not sure who/what they were doing there.

no doubt texas and the other border states are taking the brunt of it. Probably 99percent of it. Alot of that could be fixed with some sane border control. I would have to guess that you guys down there are about saturated and whats there is there and most of the new crossers have to find somewhere else. What we really have to be concerned with here is the long term damage this will do to us. Even if we win in 24 and or border is secured, we have MILLIONS of them in the country and there is absolutely no way were going to round them up and ship them back. This will cost us tax payers (the middle class) billions of dollars a year to deal with for the rest of our lives and the lives of our kids and grandkids. Texas is sending around 300 billion dollars in taxes to the federal government yearly. Meanwhile, the federal government undoes everything Texas does trying to give us citizens some relief from this growing invasion.

Dixie-Dude, please leave New Mexico out of this. We have no problem. Our short, fat, homely, little troll governor went to the border at Santa Thresa just north of El Paso when she first took office and "saw no problem". Of course she didn't as the state's national guard had it secured. She went back to Santa Fe, sent the guard home , and everything has been just fine every since. The TV stations carried news from the border showing there was but that ceased after a few months. When I go into store now it's almost like being in Mexico. Nearly everyone, from little kids to geezers, is speaking Spanish.

We live in fantasy land now. No problem with illegals, the oil producers are great for the state when state revenues are talked about but state government continues with laws and rules to make things worse for the industry every day while vowing to rid the state of it in just a few years. We seem to be rolling in money and there is talk of $750 rebate for every taxpayer in the state but they just restored sales taxes on dental work. They also just raided the state permanent fund for more money with no cut off date mainly to give teachers and state employees even better raises. Even with all this so called surplus nothing is being added to the state reserve for rainy days. Who is in charge of the entire state government? Democrats. When the legislature meets as it is doing now the small majority of republicans are told to sit down and shut up. The only thing that save us from being in the same financial shape as California is the fact that our state constitution states the we must have a balanced budget each year, no debt allowed. So far no one has attempted to change it.

To sum it all up New Mexico including herself will help no one with the illegals.

If not for my age I would just pack up and move back to my little farm in Texas to get away from these idiots. I never though I would say that as I like it down here in the southeast corner. Today's rant is finished.

Seen on the news where the ones they dropped in nyc are leaving the city in droves because its to (censored word) cold for them. We kind of saw a taste of a different problem about 10 years ago. They closed the big air force base up here and had all the housing units sitting idle. About 1/2 of them were sold to real estate company's that resold them as homes. The rest were the duplexs and quads that the state kept. We then had a big influx of welfare trash from detroit flint and deerborn. They claimed that had to housing for them but it was just an excuse to put them out of site just like nyc. After a couple long winters most of them were gone and all thats basicaly left are local welfare trash and drug dealers. My guess is if texas and arizona start dropping them off in detroit that that will be exactly where they end up. At least in the small amount of housing that wasnt about destroyed by the welfare trash. Good thing is for whitmer it will be about like throwing a boomerang because they will return to lower michigan and probably keep right on going. Heck the towel heads already about own the lower part of the state and they wont allow them to stay there.

  Agreed, the southwestern states are bearing the brunt of the invasion, and it obviously upsets almost every form of civilization, particularly along the border counties.
   Yes, we can say what the governors of the northern states should do..but that is just like saying we know what Biden should do...but none of them do it !
   I didn't vote for Hochul and I know you didn't vote for Whitmer...but they are in office, do wrong.

   You're not likely to see "immigrant caravans and camps near the northern borders.   Besides, it appears most illegals are from the warmer climes, so they likely prefer our south as a new place of domicile.

         Your problem doesn't seem to be a border problem, so much as a north vs south problem.  You say the northern states are being neglectful, because they have not each sent 50 state troopers and 100 guardsmen to your Texas border.
   Well, let's test your theory...  Have other southern states, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida and Louisiana who have no border with Mexico, each sent 50 state troopers and 100 guardsmen to protect your border?

Dunno how many we have arriving via water at our southern border but there is no shortage of them finding their way here to Bama. When I'm out and about, which is rare as I don't get out that much, I see folks speaking spanish not english all over the place.

I'm sure if I were out in stores and banks more often I'd see even more of them. We're for sure getting our share.

Alabama? I never would have thought that. Nice state to visit, or it was i guess. I bought a red VW bug there when i got out of the military, i was tired of riding on a bus, and i drove that bug all the way back here to NM. I see and hear enough of border jumpers here , to see them in Alabama also.

  Adding more personnel to the border will only add that many more, who must just "pass on through" the illegals,
