Popular Barrels

What’s the most sought after barrel for the H&R sb2 or H&R in general?
I don’t know all calibers made but so far the one I badly want is a 280rem and I’m not giving 5bills for a barrel

Sorry, I cannot say for sure, but surely the .223 and some of the straight case cartridges to satisfy certain state restrictions would be high on the list.

357 MagMaxi  has to be at the top of the list of the most wanted, there are several ads in the WTB classified on GBO that have had no results, lots of them around, but no one wants to sell. As for rare barrels, 222 Rem, 7.62x39, 7x57, 7x64, 7mm-08 20" Superlight and 300BLK are a few, not very many made compared to the more common chamberings. The 22LR Versa Pack barrel is another favorite.

I wish I'd bought 2 when I bought the one.
The Maximum surely does the job on animals
I'll probably have to eventually get a Henry and
convert it

I have a .22 LR Versa Pack,  but I have swapped the shotgun barrel around for 20 ga rather than the .410.

Figuring the 20 ga would be more versatile..even to the point of using slugs for deer.  Problem is, I cannot get my

cheek low enough to align the bead sight...and it isn't a Monte Carlo stock either.  Rifle sights are high enough to
work OK on an NEF for me....just my bones I guess..

I’d love to have a 222rem,7x57,762x39 and 7-08. I own a bolt action 222 and I really like it but wish it was a single shot

Can't you use it as a single loading rifle?
I'm a lefty that learned to shoot righty to
be able to have something to shoot with.
I have to take down a bolt rifle from my
shoulder to cycle it which is definitely wrong
and poor form
