Bushnell Legend ?
« on: March 13, 2004, 03:44:18 PM »
New here but have been reading the posts for some time. I shoot a 223 encore for P dogs and crows & targets. I would like to know the size of the dot & cross hairs on the Legend. Or would it be better i look at something else for what i do.    Larry.

First off, WELCOME ABOARD! :D

I would contact bushnell at their website at www.bushnell.com, then click riflescopes.  I don't think that such technical info will be on the website, but I think it is available in their cataloge, which you may have to order.

on 12 power the dot is .75 m.o.a and the distance between dots is 3.5 m.o.a.

Any feedback on those of you using one of the Legends.  I was thinking of one for my 22 WMR but am not sure of the mil dot reticle.  Also how is the quality etc.

I haven't shot any of the legends but have looked through them and they're nice. If you don't want the mil dot you might look at the trophy
4-12x40. This is what I shoot on my 10/22 and it does a great job for me. On riflescopes.com these scopes are the same price.
