:'(A bill introduced would ban Chinese citizens, Chinese companies or the Chinese government from buying Texas land, and other properties.

The Bill also includes Iran, North Korea, and Russia.

Not a bad idea, and banning George Soros money would solve some problems also.

Sounds like a banner idea!  I wish all state governments had that kind of courage.

:'(A bill introduced would ban Chinese citizens, Chinese companies or the Chinese government from buying Texas land, and other properties.

The Bill also includes Iran, North Korea, and Russia.

Good Bill! I don't think anyone should be able to buy American land unless they are a US citizen.
Look at your restrictions in China.

Can US citizens own property in China?
The answer is yes, foreigners are allowed to purchase property in China! The essential requirement is that you have studied or worked in China for at least one year on a residence permit. Foreigners are allowed to only own one residential property for dwelling purposes.

China owns and controls almost 192,000 acres of farmland right here in the United States. To be clear, it's not a huge percentage of our total farm acreage by any stretch. According to the FDA, there are more than 35 million acres of farmland in the U.S. which are owned by foreign investors.Aug 17, 2022

Does this make any sense?

TYexas has a Republican house senate and governorship..and can do worthwhile things like this..

Time for the low information voters in other states to "get it", and help the rest of us to throw the Marxist inspired wannabe dick-taters out !

If you city-birds want to live in a shathole place, just go off on your own and self-destruct..

This doesn't include all city dwellers, since there are a few smart people living in those places also.(but I don't know why)

Hasn't been too many years ago that
a good bit of property a couple of hours
southeast of here was owned by
middle eastern investors. They thought
that they'd bought mineral rights
with the property, but they didn't check
things out as thoroughly as they should
have.  Then they tried to sell a parcel
to the ozarka people so they could
try to drain the aquifer filling up plastic
bottles to sell to unknowing consumers.
The area got some county official to
intervene and prevent ozarka from
buying it.
Lots of skulduggery goes on that the
public never hears of
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
