The shock wave from that one, would have killed a lot of people.

Now where a meteor hits makes a difference, populated area serious problems, large body of water possible tsunami, but I have often wondered what if one the size of cooking range or there abouts, hit in say the peat bogs of the U.K or swamps of Florida, or Northern Minn.

The soil would reduce shock waves, but how big of hole I wonder it would leave.
