You're an old soldier if you used a rifle grenades with an M1 or an '03 Springfield . - -Although it was listed as anti tank, I wouldn't rely on it for that purpose....But6 a6s a bunker buster or a room sweeper it would be OK..
Of course, it has been rendered obsolete by the newer 40mm grenade.
It had a trajectory like a rainbow, so from experience, I'm guessing the angle held by the rifle in the photo below, is about what we held for 100 yards, or a bit over that.. ...Not near as accurate as a rifle, but I found I could place one in a smallish window at 100 yards.
