Spring Training
« on: March 08, 2023, 08:48:26 AM »
Baseball season started last week.
For me, due to my Father , it is still one of the joys of summer.
Good memories.

Spring training started yesterday, I still love baseball in the summer, most things that I waited for each summer are gone or become a pathetic shadow of what they once were.

base ball was my sport. played it all through school and played fast pitch softball up to 5 years ago when my body said no. i can rember sitting on the patio with dad and one or two of his buddys listening to the tigers unless he was working he didnt miss a game. he was good in his day too. we even got to play on the same fastpitch team that won the division in 87. he played catcher and i was allways a first baseman but we both did our best work with a bat.
