pull that anemic (compared to moder cars) Cosworth motor and slap in an aluminum block LS or even a modern 4cyl and youd have a fun car. guy in town had a Cosworth vega and i drove it and iy didnt impress me much. punchier then a vega gt and made exotic noises for the day but not really fast. i watched a buddy take his lunch money a few times with his 240z. faster then a pinto or a toyota were back then though but im
using faster in a relative way. unless a 110hp and mid 10s o-60 are what you consider fast

read the article after i posted that and it seems the owner agrees. drove a couple v8 vegas back in the day and they were scary fast but neither of those owners cared about anything but going straight fast!!! id bet that won is a rush to drive
