Celestron Regal LS binoculars
« on: March 14, 2004, 09:15:09 AM »
For those of you looking for midrange roof prism binoculars here is a review of the Celestron Regal LS 8x42mm, 10x42mm and 10x50mm binoculars.  I have viewed the 8x42mm and have found them to be better than the Nikon Monarch ATB, Wind River Olympic and Bausch and Lomb Discoverer.  They appear to be every bit as good as the Eagle Optics Ranger Platinum Class and they have a similar warranty.  A New York camera house sells the 8x42mm with the full warranty for $289.  Probably one of the best values in a roof prism binocular.  The problem is they are little known and not carried by many places that sell sporting optics so it is difficult to view them.  If I were still in the market I would seriously consider them.
