Anyone use one of these? Me and a friend went to a store the other day and the guy there show us his. He said it was good for reloading pistol bullets. If I had it thats what I would use it for. I got a rock chucker for my rifle shells.

I use mine for everything now about the only thing i use my orange crusher for is sizing magnum rifle and sizing bullets with the lee sizers. Buy one youll never regret it!

Boy, a Dillon is head and shoulders above any press available today. Spend the extra and never have to spend it again.

For pistols, the dillon 550 is the way to go.  Got one for my first press and use it for everything.  Just traded for a single stage Pacific and haven't found a lot of use for the Pacific.

I've used mine for everything from 9mm pistol to 45-70.  I love it, wouldn't trade it for anything.  I did just order a Lee Classic Cast single stage for those times I want to load a few cartridges in calibers that I don't want to get a shell plate and tool head for, mostly for friends that want a few rounds to try in the new bigbangwristbreaker they bought.

Have had mine about 14 yrs. Have had 4 probs with it . 2 were "operator error" the other two a quick call to dillion and they told me how to cure one, and the other was a broken part they had in the mail the next day (no charge). I have probable loaded over a millon (yes millon) rds with mine, mostly pistol and a bunch of rifle. Have a rock chucker that hasant seen a lot of service in the last 14 yrs.

Re:  The Dillon Press, I can agree with the others.  I have a Dillon Square Deal that I got a good bargain with on E-Bay.  The downside of the Square Deal is that you can't use conventional dies.  You have to get your diie sets from Dillon.  However mine came with 38/357 and 45 ACP which is what I mainly load.  I bought the 9 mm dies and toolhead and let me tell you that press will really crank out the ammo and it is good looking stuff and on spec too.  I still have my old CH Pistol Champ 3 stage press that I like to get out and use now and then.  It is a workhorse and I wouldn't part with it.  If you are considering a Dillon and you load multiple calibers and already have some dies then the 550 is the way to go (or higher if you can afford it).  Also Dillon advertises a no "BS" warranty and they stand behind all of their products.  Go for it and you will find the time spent at the bench with good hardware rewarding.  Good for the mental health!!!

I love mine.  12 years and thousands of rounds through it.  I have actually wore out the primer cup spring three times and they just send new ones.  No questions asked.  Great stuff.  It is easy to use as a turret press if you are tested loaded.
