Part Number???
« on: March 16, 2004, 03:37:01 AM »
I was looking over my Contender the other day and I noticed that the little pressed in pin on the hammer that hits the centerfire firing pin was missing.  I called TC and the nice lady said they would send one right out.  I got the package yesterday and when I opened it , inside was a small spring.  Does anyone have the right part number so I can tell them the number when I call them.  I guess I need to ask them for an owners manual while I am at it.

Thanks

To a prettty poor older drawing...perhaps the part you need is a hammer nose?
 Hope this helps, Bill

Thanks bgood but I think that is for a older type of hammer.  TC make so many types of hammers.

why not just send it in to T/C for a sefty check and a good once over. they will fix anything they find wrong with it and send it back. I normaly send my frames back every 5 years or so just to be sure they are still in top shape
