got a 454 casull 12in barrel encore. shot it 6 times and the rifleing is covered with copper fouling . : :? the bullets is horn 250 gr xtp with 28gr of win 296 .... my 44 mag never done this any idaes?
the brass is horn .. the primers is fed 205 small rifle thanks fore any help gate

sure, clean it with copper solvent and break it in may take some number of rounds,clean after each shot. probably wouldn't hurt to use a bit of jb bore compound on it also.

Yep! once you get it clean take a close look at the lands. You'll see that they look like tiny files. Just needs some polishin up. Funny thing is that mine will copper foul but it doesnt lead.

Hey Duffy, I'll trade ya, mine leads up but doesn't copper foul very much, of course I've shot probably 600 lead bullets through it versus 50 jacketed, but that wouldn't matter would it!
