Found a different scope mounting system for the Ruger SRH's
« on: January 05, 2003, 09:08:09 AM »
I also posted this in the optics forum but I thought I would stick in here to for those that may have missed it.

You guys may have already been aware of this but I am relatively new to the Ruger scene as I just recently got my SRH. I have been hearing a lot about the imperfections of the Ruger mounting system and the prep work required to insure a good tight fit.

Here is a link..its an adaptable weaver base that will allow you to use any rings you like. No gunsmith required.

Let me know what you guys think.
