300 gr. hornady XTP mags,$9 per 50.And they shoot pretty good too,I haven't hit anything with em but definitely should stop almost anything.

Hdy 300gr XTP mag

The Hdy 300gr xtp MAG (be sure it is the MAG designation) shoots like a match bullet in my FA .454 revolver---I tried many others cast and jacketed----this one seems very forgiving on hot and softball loads and cost is competetive with hardcast lead gas check bullets----gotta be tough bullets or they will come apart at high .454 pressures or lead up and shoot patterns rather than groups----you may find the Encore barrel a little different than a Freedom Arms barrel and there is no forcing cone issue, but high pressure is high pressure.  ------  pg

get some cast bullets in the 250 to 325 gr. weight range and run them over 12 grains unique.   cheap shooting and still potent enough to hunt with.
