That there was something wrong with her, after the fact, is obvious. That her parents should have known what their 28-year-old girl was doing, not so obvious. That she was living at home with her parents, so what?
That she had no criminal record, and bought guns legally? Happens every day.
OK, so In asked some questions and you provided some answers..not that I agree with all of them.
She was adjudged a mental defective, so it would seem that may be why she was living at home. Evidently that is the reason for her to roost at her parents, so it should have been their duty to protect her and the community.
She was being treated for mental issues..and her parents didn't think she should have guns. So, what did they do about it? See the link below:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/crime/nashville-shooting-motive-audrey-hale-b2309664.htmFolks here, and elsewhere say they don't want the government in interfering in their lives, but change their minds when sumthin like this happens.
Speculation, the judgmental mentality, and armchair quarterbacking are a luxuries mostly afforded to armchair quarterbacks only.
Living at home at age 28 and no steady employment? wouldn't that raise anybody's questions? Yahoo news gives her employment record as this:
" Hale's LinkedIn account also lists work as a part-time grocery shopper with the food delivery service Shipt and mentions past employment as a cat sitter." It seems that alone would prompt a parent to be concerned, being as many of us were expected to be productive at age 18.
But here's a better question.
With the entire country aware that school shootings happen, where is the outrage towards schools that continue to not provide security in both the buildings, and personell?
Some schools think they have the security situation under control, but when the rubber meets the road..they are rudely awakened. Consider Uvalde..THE POLICE SHOWED UP. ACTED ACORDINGLY, AND TOOK OUT THE PERP.
AFTER THE FACT.
OK, so I asked questions..didn't make statements..and we still do not totally agree.. no biggie !
