NPR, FBI, DOE, DOJ, should all be shut down and disbanded. (And a few others I can't remember all the acronyms they go by) Billions of dollars spent by the federal government, that if shut down, the average American wouldn't notice the difference in their daily lives.

As I understand it only 1% of the funding comes from the government, the rest from members. In our area I believe the membership is something like 160,000. You don't have to like what they broadcast, heck I sure don't, but I pay my membership and listen to the news a couple of times a day. Just saying...

I used to listen back when Praire Home Companion was on but when the ME TOO brigade shut him down and news that is now strictly slanted to the Democrat Party, I quit.
Have not listened since before the China Virus.

Now the Classical Music channel part of Public Radio, that I still listen to often.

Could be, but probably depends on what your location is. I suspect it veries from place to place.

Actually most of their income is from donations by Liberal corporations. Bill Gates contributes a substantial amount to NPR. The Federal and State Governments that shouldn't support any biased entity about 15% on the table. Hard to say how much under it. The general public contributions mostly come from White Liberal men.

I would guess that the overwhelming majority of support, by the public in Oregon comes from Eugene north to the Washington border. Salem and Portland areas leading the numbers.
