    ..But that didn't mean we had to be uncivil with one another.

   Even though we often disagreed in the past, TM was always willing to engage me intellectually...with neither of us resorting to name-calling or using pejorative accusations.

   Exactly as I was saying...  We sometimes disagreed to be sure...but always as gentlemen; not exchanging insults or accusations,

I seldom ever agreed with TM, but he didn't change directions with the wind. I really don't know if I'm glad, sad, or indifferent that he's gone, but I do know, it ain't smart to jump on the biggest dog on the block.

    You are correct...  I spoke about gentlemanly discussions between TM and I.  His discussions with others may have been geared to a l   evel of mutual respect.

  TM is not alone in that observation ..  There are many here who can speak and act as gentlemen.  For example, I have had times
     when I disagreed with folks like NW Hunter, Bob Reibe and Dark Gael...yet you don't hear such strident and hostile conversation.

   ..And these 3 were certainly not alone.

   While I do enjoy respectful repartee.. when thing lapse frantic , condescending exchange, it reflects upon the speaker, and his self

When involved in an exchange where it behooves you to prove a point, why not try to convince by either your own experience or call upon others who have expertise in the field?  Without backup, you're just talking..

    "Being a man", would acquiring a working knowledge of the subject and coming back with a cogent, hard to deny answer, or otherwise own up to your inadequacy in the field...and start asking questions..just as I would do with Elon Musk, or my cardiologist , whom I spent some time with this morning. ...Not my field, I had only questions for the doctor..he had the answers.

   Yet when I offer a detailed explanation either one of you will viciously dispute the issue..or make a pointless debate of it..even
 though you offer no documented reason why it is in error, seeming to go purely on emotion.

Just like  now, in all the years of being on these forums, I have yet to see any admission of error on your part. You portray yourself as always the victim, and are deaf to any explanation other than your own. It's just like your made up explanation of TMs absence here. Totally fraudulent.
