God is teaching me what Jesus suffered for us
« on: April 13, 2023, 10:36:56 PM »
always said the most painful surgery i recovered frm was the smashed ankle. it might still be the worse because of the length of recovery. in some ways its still going on from when they pinned it altogether in the 70s and replaced the anke about 10 years ago so i can just imagine getting a stake driven through me ankles. got to be about the most painful thing i can imagine. just had the second surgery on my hand. now ive had many back surgerys. one fusion even about a month ago but the two hand surgerys were much worse then th back or hip and knee replacements. i lost my ring finger because the bone just shattered and the doc said if he amputated it i would only need one surgery. well that went out the door because the middle finger didnt heal and i also got infection in it. so surgery again yesterday. this time plates and screws and it had to be left open with a wound vacuum on it for a week then i have to go back and have it sewed up.i was up at 130am as the nerve block wore off and im here to tell you the pain is character building. im one that HATES narcotics but i just took one an hour ago and honestly if it helped i cant tell. for Jesus to have both without any pain relief almost makes me question that he could even speak nailed to the cross. i think some take the cross as a symbolic thing he died for us on and overlook the excruciating death he suffered for us

Dang Lloyd. Sorry to hear about your finger and the pain. No shame in taking those pain meds, give em a chance.

Praying your finger heals. Yes indeed Christ suffered greatly for all of us.

Hope things get healed soon for you. Praying a rapid healing and since I feel the same way, I'm praying that you won't need the "goofy pills", as I call them.

So far as Jesus' suffering...we can only imagine...
