The Texas State Senate just passed a bill to require the "TEN COMMANDMENTS" be put in every class room in Texas public schools. It will now go to the governors desk to be signed.
The bill also includes Bible studies and prayer.

Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho are about the only other 3 states I'd consider, with Wyoming on top.
I tried Colorado twice back in the 70s with Larimer County S.O. trying to get me to stay, but even back then, I couldn't handle their thought process.

  Guzzi; From what I understand, you claim to be a Christian in the Mennonite manner.. You also say you have been a long time school teacher.

  You should then, be aware of the following facts;

     We were a Christian nation, founded by Christians

     The Separatists (Pilgrims) were Christians..The Puritans of New England were Christians..as were the first colonists of Virginia.

  The Conquistadors who founded St Augustine, as well as the Cathoiic fathers who founded missions in our southwest were Christians

    The Pilgrims of Plymouth, while still living aboard the Mayflower..gathered to write the "Mayflower Compact"..long referred to as the
      "birth certificate of America"..    Which, among other things pledged to spread the Christian faith.

      As a nation, we have been practicing our Constitution,  by being completely tolerant of other faiths, starting in Rhode Island
      nearly 150 years before we became the United States.

  A Christian nation, with "liberty and justice for all".  You must admit, this seemed to work very well..until too many walked away
     from that premise.

  I would think that being forearmed with this knowledge, you would be four-square behind the concept.

Ya know Guzzi, to be a school teacher as you claim, you surely are ignorant to the intent of the founding fathers, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
The Constitution was written using Christian principles, and in regards to Christianity being involved in our daily government, it says the exact opposite of what you just said.
What a shame a school board would be so negligent, and  allow someone as anti American, anti Christian, and Constitutionally ignorant as you, to have access to their children.

Yep! The BLM, and ANTIFA, backed by northern liberals have been trying to take the Confederate memorials off the courthouse lawns where I grew for several years now. Heavily armed "good ole boys" always show up and offer assistance to local law enforcement, and local citizens show up to block their access to the memorials.

      Evidently, the above was an exercise in futility, since very few Bible believing Christians would want any 'state official' to be composing any prayers.  That includes the teacher or anyone else.

  In any case, there is sincere doubt by many, of the efficacy of "canned prayers".  On the spot, prayers, direct from one's heart..seem
