From what I've read Carlson was in the middle of "contract renewal negotiations", but your link says he'll still get a check from Fox for 2 more years, and although he took a job with OAN, he can't actually go to work until his Fox contract expires in 2 years.

Does any of that make sense to you? I swear its hard to know what to believe.

Tucker Gets Job Offer with Massive Salary

A competitor to Fox News has reportedly offered Tucker Carlson a salary roughly three times higher than what he was previously earning as the highest-rated cable news host.

“One America News,” also known as OAN, would be willing to pay $25 million, according to the Times of San Diego.

Listened to Clay Travis, and Buck Sexton again this morning and they seem pretty positive that Carlsons' contract states he cannot work for another news organization until his Fox contract expires in 2 years.

Tucker has also made a media release on his own vaguely stating his views on the firing which they played the audio a couple a times. Their "prediction" is he might hook up with Elon Musk.

BTW, according to them Carlsons released statement has already surpassed 20 million views.

I still say he is gone because the global elites didn't like him telling the truth about what is going on. Especially from a major news network platform. After all he was only one of the ones sounding the alarm on the fake vaccine. He spoke out about the nordstream pipeline, how the Biden regimes, and Republicans were fueling the war in Ukraine, and the waste of billions of dollars being sent there. He called the media out for suppressing all forms of dissent. He said. "The current mainstream media functions as a propaganda wing of the Democrats and must be thought of as a department within the Democrat party organization."
He also said "The conflict is with a Left that has increasingly embraced evil. That’s hard to accept.  Most Americans don’t want to regard other Americans as evil.  But the evidence is abundant and growing." You can bet the Murdoch's hated that Tucker indicated that a civilizational clash is under way.  He has called the globalists out on a lot of issues, and you can bet they had to end it.

Well, whatever the reason, or reasons, he's gone. This country is on a bobsled headed to hell, and about all us old folks can do is watch, and complain.
The crazies are runnin the asylum, and they don't even try to hide it anymore.

States are no longer "united", and its basically every state for itself. The federal government is intentionally trying to destroy Texas, and our state government is trying to hang on to God, moral decency, and a future for our kids, while the government, and outsiders are doing everything to prevent it.

I don't recognize this country anymore, and I don't think it will survive whole, and intact much longer.

   The Group, boss and venue that hosts Megyn Kelly, while on the air...offered Tucker a $100 million, five year contract !
   
   Tucker can "be himself", will have no interference from 'the top' ..and it looks like he can go wherever he wants to go, and report
    on whatever he wants to report upon..

   I can imagine there are several other offers out there, but we just don't hear of them !  ...And Fox is running scared of Newsmax..

I always thought when someone was fired their contract was severed, but I don't know. Fox may opt to pay him until Dec. of 2024 just to keep him silent, and not produce competition for Fox.
