Still some more voting and more
bureaucracy hurdles to go through.
Calls for at least one armed security
officer at every Texas public school
and arms training for school personnel.
I haven't heard specifics
Been needed for years

Has been needed everywhere, but many are afraid of hurting someone. Years ago, I took a class to get a license to carry Mace, in California. The instructor told us he had a student who just didn't want to hurt anyone else, so when she was assaulted, she sprayed herself. Probably not my way, but it worked.

Well if I do live long enough, I
realize the time will come that
I'll have to defend my life with
lethal force. So will every other
living person on the planet.
Some will be able to harden
themselves for the task of
survival. Many others will not
be able to, and will be taken
down, and many many will
self cancel. It's not a pleasant
thought in any way, but the
prospect is real and has to be
considered and weighed by
each person.
Lack of consequences and
punishment for crimes is already
a very real thing here and now,
and criminals and people without
morals already know it and are
actively exploiting it daily.
Pepper spray and stun guns are
absolutely not effective.
I realize that thought is hard
for many, but it's real

Yes it should

There wasn't any problems when
I was in school, and nobody was
ever required or forced to pray
When there was a devotion or
a lunchroom prayer interval,
the only requirement was that
everybody remained quiet while
those that wanted to pray could
do so. That's just common
everyday courtesy. Just like the
moment of silence that's observed
sometimes at public ceremonies
and functions. That's not forced
religion, it's only being a respectful
courteous person, and part of
being a civilized human vs. a
barbaric beast
