Ad was from 2021. A video a couple months ago, shows a guy pouring out all his JD, and setting it on fire. I tried it 25 or 30 years ago. Couldn't see the big hoopla about it.

I think its popularity stems from its presentation, and advertising. JD has always been associated with music. Frank Sinatra was supposedly buried with a bottle of JD. I cant believe it won anyone over from its taste.

Darn good beer. My camp is in PA and the local watering hole carries several kinds on tap and in bottles.

guess i could go full circle and back to the Strohs or the Papst i was weaned on. back in the 70s that was 90 percent of the beer sold around here. you rarely saw a bud or miller. maybe Labatts, i drank a few hundred gallons of that in the 80s. Actually, to me still one of the best tasting beers but there canadian so chances are there as woke as bud
