I don't know for sure
I recently heard that these CCW insurance
policies won't pay if the PTB thinks you were
in the wrong, for example, if the DA is woke
and thinks you should have climbed out of a
window instead of shooting the stoned 16 year
old that kicked your door in at 3 AM
Don't know it for fact, just heard it on the radio
According to Ayoob..you had best read the 'fine print'. He mentioned one case where the insurer's fine print said they would back out
if the CCW insured had "broken any other local laws", during the incident.
He claims the people he represent, are not exactly a "insurance", but more an "advice" group.. Any more info..you need to see the video..
Then the insurer claimed that by firing his gun, the insured party broke the local noise ordnance..so they wouldn't help him. There
were other incidents cited.
As I said earlier, the only experience I have observed was a truck driver who paid monthly for such protection...but when he needed
their help...all he got was a couple letters, givinbg excuses as to why they couldn't help him.
I suppose if a firm can get 10,000 subscribers at $50-$60 per month, and for the most part, just offer excuses for why they won't
help, that is quite a lump of easy cash in their pockets..
