8 Disturbing Similarities between the Democrat and Nazi Parties
By D. Parker

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2023/05/8_disturbing_similarities_between_the_democrat_and_nazi_parties.html

Steve McCann's "Eight Startling and Uncomfortable Ways the Democrat Party Emulates the Nazi Party" was just the tip of the National Socialist iceberg.

The fascist far left have always had to lie to survive.  They've always been on the wrong side of history, and the only way they can remain viable is by gaslighting people on a full-time basis.  For decades, their biggest lie has been that the supposedly pro-freedom side of the political spectrum, imbued in the precepts of individual liberty and limited government, is somehow connected to totalitarian collectivist regimes that displayed the exact opposite of those values.

Anyone who has debated leftists for the past few decades has been subjected to the same bluff abuse in their trying to maintain that nonsensical lie.  But the close similarities between fascism and communism have been obvious for at least 75 years:

"In certain basic respects — a totalitarian state structure, a single party, a leader, a secret police, a hatred of political, cultural and intellectual freedom — fascism and communism are clearly more like each other than they are like anything in between".

—Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., Associate Professor of History at Harvard, New York Times Magazine, Sunday, April 4, 1948

Even if you set aside the preposterous argument that totalitarians would also be proponents of liberty and limited government, there are still a myriad of parallel characteristics between the Democrat party and the National Socialist German Workers' (Nazi) Party.  That's what was so startling about the first eight ways.

Our follow-up along those lines will make the case even more.

1. Democrats and the Nazis were/are obsessed with gun confiscation.

We'll start with the one issue the fascist far left never bring up when they try to make their absurd claims: that the Democrats and the Nazis were obsessed with gun confiscation.  You will never hear them try to make this accusation of the pro-freedom right because even they know that their lies can only carry them so far.  This obvious common collectivist trait also destroys the far leftist mythology of the "party switch," which supposedly took place sometime in the late '60s.  This was one glaring item that didn't switch, so they avoid mentioning it.

Anyone who has been paying attention for the past few years knows that saying that the Democrats are obsessed with gun confiscation is an understatement of massive proportions.  Every day, it seems they've come out with a new scheme on the national, state, and local levels to deprive the people of their commonsense civil rights.

2. Democrats and Nazis are collectivists.

There are essentially two political philosophies: individualism and collectivism.  The fact is that all academic disciplines are based on foundational principles, and this is an ironclad rule that separates the two sides of the political spectrum and also eviscerates the fascist far left's biggest lie.  According to F.A. Hayek, students today are often taught that on the imaginary "political spectrum," socialism and communism are "left of center," and capitalism and fascism are "right of center."  This is frightfully misleading.  Socialism, communism and fascism are all peas in the same collectivist pod.  Hayek held that they all despised both competition and the individual, and he was precisely right.

3. The overarching philosophy of both Democrats and Nazis is centralized control.

The individualists on the pro-freedom side of the political spectrum favor liberty and limited government.  The collectivists of the anti-liberty side of the political spectrum favor control and unlimited government.  This can easily be seen in the Democrat's obsession with controlling not only basic liberties, but also gas stoves, dishwashers, and air-conditioners.

In the case of the German National Socialist Labor Party, this was set out as point 25 in their 25-point program:

    25. In order to carry out this program we demand: the creation of a strong central authority in the State, the unconditional authority by the political central parliament of the whole State and all its organizations.

4. The centralized collectivist control philosophy of the Democrat and Nazi parties is epitomized in the phrase "the Common Good" (Gemeinnutz vor Eigennutz in the original German).

How many times have you heard the fascists of the far left parrot the phrase "the Common Good" when trying to shove a draconian, authoritarian rule down our throats?  The COVID crisis was particularly egregious in this regard, exemplified by this piece in USA Today: "The COVID culture war: At what point should personal freedom yield to the common good?"

5. Far-left fascists of the Democrat and Nazi parties see force as means to their political power.

While the German national socialist party exploited force, Democrats started the practice with the KKK and perfected it with the Burning, Looting, and Murder riots during the summer of 2020, making it clear to everyone that if they didn't get their way, the BLM violence would continue.

The tradition continues with Mr. Liberty Control himself, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), threatening a "popular revolt" if they don't get their way in ramming the pre-stages of gun confiscation down our throats.

6. Democrats and Nazis are proponents of single-party systems.

It should also be obvious that the authoritarians of the far left would love to keep everything nice and simple with a single party — theirs.  This is why the Nazis attacked the rival collectivists of the communist party.  Just like the rival factions of Islam, they had the same ideology; it's just that they wanted to be the people in control.

This was exemplified in a piece from the New Republic, "The Constitution Is the Crisis," with this lovely quotation: "We've seen multiple periods of one-party dominance in our history; we've also seen defeated political parties wither and die. Why shouldn't the Republican Party join them?"

7. Democrats and Nazis are fascistic.

You can always tell when a leftist defines fascism, because aside from the inevitable circular logic that supposedly prevents them from being fascist, such as oh, so cleverly labeling themselves as "anti-fascist," they will define the term based on an arbitrary set of subjective (and thus meaningless) criteria.

The fact is that fascism is based on several references.  When it's primarily defined as an economic system, fascism is socialism with a capitalist veneer.

In present-day parlance, it's a "Public/Private" partnership, combining the worst aspects of unlimited governmental rule and corporate oligarchy, with the latter answering to the government instead of the customer.  The Bud Light debacle is a prime example.

When the Italian far left originally developed this reprehensible ideology 96 years ago, it was based on La Carta del Lavoro, translated as the Charter of Labor.  The New York Times enthused:

FASCISTI PROCLAIM 'CHARTER OF LABOR'; Mussolini Is Hailed as Prophet of Cooperative Industrial Peace Under the State. LABOR AND CAPITAL JOINED Document Declaring Rights and Duties Is Presented at Climax of Rome's 2,681st Birthday.

ROME, April 21. — The Fascist "Charter of Labor," embodying the fundamental principles of the Fascist-Syndicalist State, which is based primarily upon the theory of replacing the class struggle by a fruitful cooperation between capital and labor under direct State control, was promulgated tonight by Premier Mussolini at a special meeting of the Fascist Grand Council.

Strangely enough, Democrats never refer to this founding document of their base ideology.  If you study any of their "academic" work on the subject, they tend to ignore these facts.

8. Democrats are striving for a totalitarian state structure and a single party like the Nazis.

Put all of this together, and you'll come to the inescapable conclusion that all of these parallels make the ironclad case that both parties are all too similar.

With with modern surveillance technology and tyrannical "innovations" like Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), the Democrats could make the Nazis look like amateurs.  This is why they have to be opposed with cultural guerrilla warfare every step of the way.

Let's Call Them What They Are: Communists
By John Green

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2023/05/lets_call_them_what_they_are_communists.html

There are forces determined to destroy the American experiment (and they're not white supremacists, Joe).  The most dangerous are attacking from within. They're using asymmetrical warfare to attack socially, economically, and ideologically to compromise our system of governance and bring about a new vision for America. Unfortunately, they use identifiers that hide their real intent.  I've been struggling with what to call them.

In my writing, I've tried a lot of names for the "fundamentally change America" insurgents.  Many don't work because they are literally incorrect.  I hate distortions of the English language.  One can't win the debate of ideas if the words of the debate don't have static meanings.  Other labels are just inadequate in describing the threat.

A "liberal" is someone who stands for liberty.  That is literally the opposite of what our "liberals" stand for.  They use cancelation and censorship to quiet disagreements.  They distort the law to crush dissent.  They use moral relativism to break our sense of right and wrong.  They don't deliver liberty.  They deliver oppression and corruption.

"Progressive" doesn't work much better.  A progressive is supposed to be a person who values progress.  But those operating under the progressive banner have

created conflict in the name of social justice,
destroyed our prosperity in pursuit of ecological justice, and
used wildly out-of-control spending to buy our way out of problems that actually require human development.

In the name of "progress," they have delivered social strife, criminal chaos, and economic collapse.  They haven't delivered progress — only regression.

Even though I use it a lot, I don't like the label "leftist," either.  "Left" is a navigational instruction, not an ideology.  Going left isn't an act of evil, but leftists are evil actors.  It's a distortion of the language, meant to hide the agenda behind a camouflage of words having nothing to do with their actual political objectives.

Then there's the party name "Democrat."  Democrats have no core ideology, in spite of what their name implies.  Their reason for being is not to promote self-governance, but to amass power.

Democrats have supported

    slavery and reparations,
    the KKK and BLM,
Jim Crow and Critical Race Theory,
the termination of children as an individual right, and
    government dominion over our health.

The Dems will support anything that enhances their power.  They have no guiding principles other than that.  They are the allies of our enemies — the Vichy, willing to sacrifice our welfare in exchange for power.  "Democracy" has nothing to do with what Democrats promote.

None of those labels adequately describes those who are actively working to undermine America's founding principles.  Let's stop denying the threat and call them what they are: communists.

I was a child of the Cold War.  We learned the evils of communism in history and social studies at school.  I never thought we'd be talking about America as a communist country — yet we leave people in power who are moving us in that direction.

Let's examine what communism is.  Communism is the establishment of a communal society, in which the state controls the means of production and the populace works for the welfare of the commune — not the welfare of individuals.

Personal freedom must be sacrificed for the commune.  In the last three years, the government has attempted to take away our property rights, our rights of association, our freedom of speech, and our freedom to manage our own medical decisions — all for the good of the commune.

In communism the state controls production, dictating what will be produced and when it will be produced.  The government determines what crops can be grown and what they will be used for (e.g., food or renewable energy).  In recent years, the demands to nationalize the financial and energy industries have become increasingly loud.

The state also controls the distribution of products and wealth.  Barack Obama articulated it clearly when he said:

There's only so much you can eat.  There's only so big a house you can have.  There's only so many nice trips you can take.  I mean, it's enough.

He meant that having more than you need undermines the welfare of the commune, and the state will decide what that "needed" amount is.  The rest will be redistributed.  Some call it reparations.

In a communist society, the state controls information.  The propagandists tell the population what they need to hear to advance the needs of the commune — like saying that state control is necessary to provide equity.  They also hide anything that would undermine the commune — like the extent of state corruption.

A communist state crushes dissenters as criminals — because nothing is more criminal to a communist than challenging the state.  Communists invented the concept show me the man, and I'll show you the crime.

If the state creates enough criminal statutes — more than any human can memorize — it can find anyone guilty of something.  Prosecutorial discretion is then used to target dissidents and protect friends and allies.  A criminal who firebombs a pregnancy center is ignored, while a man who protests at an abortion facility is prosecuted.

Is America transitioning to communism?

Oppression of personal freedom — check
    Distortion of information — check
Government control of distribution — check
Selective prosecution of opposition — check
Government control of production — coming soon to a farm or factory near you

Bernie and the Squad will object, claiming they're not communists.  They identify as something much more noble: socialists, who just redistribute a little wealth for equity.

Bernie is lying.  The man spent his honeymoon in the communist paradise of the USSR.  He knows what it is.  He's just using "socialism" to hide his true objective.

AOC and the Squad are simply fools.  The extent of the bartender from Brooklyn's understanding is that socialism gives everybody free stuff from the government.  It's an endless Christmas morning — without the annoying religious overtones.

Here's what Bernie and Squad aren't telling Americans: a socialist is merely a communist in transition.  Socialists like the communism concept, but they know that the word frightens free men, so they haven't "come out" yet.

Communism-light (socialism) has been tried many times and has never worked.  Socialists allow private ownership of property and use government for redistribution of wealth — trying to achieve the equity of communism with the productivity of capitalism.

But the redistribution causes productivity to fall — demanding ever-increasing redistribution.  The death spiral of falling productivity and increasing redistribution eventually results in shortages — of everything.  As Margaret Thatcher famously said, "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

When that happens, socialism either collapses (people in Venezuela are eating zoo animals to survive) or turns into communism — seizing everything for the state.  That's what Bernie and the Squad want for America — in the name of social justice.

Let's recognize our domestic enemies for what they are. They aren't in favor of liberty or progress.  They have no morality guiding their actions.  They aren't promoting self-governance.  They're trying to ease us into a communal existence of "one for all" and "all for none," where individuals serve the needs of the state — and are otherwise expendable.  They're commies.
Those people who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.    Wm. Penn

Bottom line: Communism has never worked. Never. One wonders, then, what the ultimate goal is for people who espouse communism. History tells them that communism has never been successful and yet, if you all are correct, there is this push toward establishing a communist society. It does not make sense. So…..why?

So you question if we are moving toward a communist society?  Do you not think there are enough signs to show that we are? As for why. Communism takes power and choice from individuals and transfers it to the state.  Communism gives leaders power, and removes it from free individuals. We have plenty of power hungry leaders. Communism looks attractive to those that think they have been cheated in the free capitalistic system.  They think that people shouldn't have more than they do, in money and property. Those at the bottom of the capitalist system think they will be winners in a communist society.

Call politicians what they really are, is more appropriate. Call it communism, fascism or what ever, but most politicians whore for the vote. If they reside in a more conservative environment, they run as Republicans, and pander to them. If in big cities, they run as Democrats for that vote.

The biggest threat to the sovereignty of this once powerful and prosperous nation is Globalism. The Globalists live and breathe on both sides of the isle. It's obvious that Republicans in DC hate Trump as much as Democrats do. They perceive him as a threat to Globalism. JMVHO!

No, I did not do that. What I asked was, basically, why anyone would want a communist society since they do not work.

There is a whole lotta truth in that statement.

Is it possible to avoid Globalism? Note that I am not disagreeing with your comment; I am just wondering how difficult it would be to change the course of the ship.

8 Disturbing Similarities between the Democrat and Nazi Parties

NAILED IT AGAIN~!

But capitalism only works for those who support reasonable laws and controls, get educated and, or trained and work hard and are careful with their finances.  The rewards of that kind of society are thought to be unfair by some.  There will always be losers in any society, but if you are going to be a loser, you'd better hope you have the productive and successful society to prop you up.

Isn’t that a big part of the problem - expecting society to prop you up if you are a loser?
