20 Heavily Armed IRS and ATF Agents Raid Great Falls Gun Store, Seize Firearm Purchase Records

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/06/it-begins-20-heavily-armed-irs-atf-agents/

In an unprecedented move, twenty armed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents carried out a raid on a gun store in Great Falls, Montana, seizing all Form 4473 – documents that record buyer’s information during firearms transactions.

Tom Van Hoose, owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters, alleges that he has been under constant surveillance by state and federal agencies for over two years, KRTV reported.

On Wednesday, the gun shop owner reported an unexpected visit from 20 heavily armed IRS and ATF agents at his store.

The agents reportedly arrived at the shop early in the morning, as Van Hoose was opening for the day.

We have now confirmed that both the IRS and the ATF were at Highwood Creek Outfitters in Great Falls around 7 am this morning. Both the IRS and ATF would not say why they were there,” KMON Radio reported.

Dr. Peter McCullough: Understand Spike Shedding Before It’s Too Late

“A spokeswoman for the IRS would only say they were there on official IRS business. The ATF says it was providing assistance to the IRS. We attempted to enter the store today and were stopped by agents at the door who would only say that the gun store is closed and will reopen tomorrow,” the news outlet added.

According to Hoose, the federal scrutiny began two years ago and has involved various agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and now, the Internal Revenue Service.

So what's next--all the names on the sales documents have their guns confiscated?  Or maybe they'll get a free trip to the local jail so they can be charged with whatever.

This could be the beginning--if it's true.  The Demunists have got to do something to get the attention off of the brain addled moron in the White House.

None of it surprises me anymore (sadly )

Too many apathetic people sat on the
fence for way too long about every issue
we face today. When the S finally does
HTF,  there won't be a fence. Everybody
will have to pick a side regardless of
how neutral and detached they want
to be. We've enabled and made excuses
for too long now

Hope it isn't a legitimate bust, i.e. one based on a legitimately discovered illegality committed by the owner. We all know what we feel about both agencies; a legitimate bust would give them credibility.

Doesn't sound legit.  If they truly suspected him of something..what was it?  When they involve the ATF, the IRS, OSHA, FBI, homeland security
and how many other agencies, what specifically, were they after... or is it just a "we'll get you on something",,deal ?

It would seem the democrat/communists are confident enough by their demographic studies, to believe they have the majority of the people
   totally brainwashed.   ...And they may.

I think the raid was all about the ATF getting the 13 years worth of 4473's . The owner said he does about 1500 to 2000 sales a year, so thats somewhere around 22,000 4473's. The 4473 forms were not even on the IRS warrant. This is nothing other than our tyrannical government at work.

Doesn't really matter if it was legit. Have you ever known the government to give back what it took?

Biden bums; please spare us from all the BS>>>

If a plumbing business or lumber yard is suspected of keeping inadequate records, do we expect that the feds would show up with a
heavily armed SWAT team, just to pick up some records?

Show shat!  ..Once again, just trying to demonize guns and gun owners .  What a bunch of appointed legal quacks !!

Every Conservative house and Senate member should be working overtime with Ernst to overturn this Arming of the Federal government against it's citizens.

JUNE 13, 2023
Ernst Works to Disarm IRS
IRS Has Spent Over $32 Million Taxpayer Dollars on Weapons, Ammo

WASHINGTON – Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) is leading the charge to end the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) waste of taxpayer dollars to arm its agents.

The IRS has spent $35.2 million on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment since 2006, including $10 million in weaponry and gear since 2020. These purchases are used by the IRS’ Criminal Investigation Division that has jurisdiction over federal tax crimes.

“The taxman is fully loaded at the expense of the taxpayer,” Ernst said. “As the Biden administration has worked to expand the size of the IRS, any further weaponization of this federal agency against hardworking Americans and small businesses is a grave concern. I’m working to disarm the IRS and return these dollars to address reckless spending in Washington.”

"The IRS isn't going to war, so just who are they preparing to battle? Our OpenTheBooks auditors found the IRS spent millions of tax dollars on AR-15 style rifles, semi-automatic shotguns, and even purchased submachine guns while stockpiling 5 million rounds of ammunition in their gun locker. The IRS special agent is starting to look less like a desk worker or rule maker and more like a SWAT team from a Hollywood thriller. It's the blurring of the lines between a tax agency and traditional law enforcement,” said Adam Andrzejewski, Founder and CEO of Open the Books.

The Why Does the IRS Have Guns Act would:

Prohibit the IRS from buying, receiving, or storing guns and ammo,
Transfer all guns and ammo currently in the IRS’ possession to the General Services Administration,
Auction off these guns and ammo to Federal Firearms License owners and devote proceeds to deficit reduction, and
Relocate the IRS Criminal Investigation Division within the Justice Department.
Freedom Of Speech.....Once we lose it, every other freedom will follow.

Wonder how many ATF and IRS agents armed like they are, would go into ghetto hoods and arrest hood rats that are felons carrying a firearm. Drug dealers selling thousands of dollars a week and not paying tax's. That's what put Al Capone in jail. Oh wait, the government doesn't really want to stop crime, if they did, Obama and Emanuel would be brought up on charges of running guns to the drug cartels, and a border agent's death might be associated with their actions!

IF you have a FFL, the ATF can come in and take all of your 4473 records at any time, they don't need a reason, It's always been that way.

Can the IRS just take 4473's also? Obviously they can. There are laws that keep the ATF from compiling a gun owner database from the 4473's, but laws don't seem to matter to the federal government anymore. Every gun store that has ever closed has had to hand over all its 4473 forms.  The ATF has just come out with an updated 4473 to entrap more people of a wrong answer. the more information someone has to put on the 4473. the more chances of writing a wrong answer down.  Lying on a 4473 is punishment up to 10 years in prison, and up to a $250,000 fine. That is unless you are the son of a democrat politician. Then lying on the form your punishment is equivalent to a parking ticket.

Yes they can take them, and when you quit getting an FFL, you have to send them ALL of the paperwork.
