Just read that the Navy had some special instruments pick up the implosion the day it happened. Figured somebody did. Still trying to understand the mind set of the developer. Was it ignorance, or arrogance. Smart enough, or lucky enough, to make billions, but refused to spend the money, or thought he was above the laws of science?

Either somebody was negligent or
not qualified for the job, or the instrumentation
was faulty or not up to the work it
was used for. Stuff like that shouldn't
slide. Gave the loved ones a false
hope, and used assets that could have
been utilized elsewhere. Not to mention
the costs. Heard on the radio that
USCG costs were over a mil.
