Many today ask.. What happened?"
« on: June 29, 2023, 01:27:40 AM »
Some wonder what happened to our Nation..why it has gone completely daffy.  A French intellectual toured the New American republic for
   10 months of 1831/1832

Alexis De Tocqueville was prescient beyond most observers, and here is what predicted in 1831:

“I sought for the greatness of the United States in her commodious harbors, her ample rivers, her fertile fields, and boundless forests—and it was not there. I sought for it in her rich mines, her vast world commerce, her public school system, and in her institutions of higher learning— and it was not there. I looked for it in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution—and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great!”

He doesn't need any more explanation, does he.....

By any measure America (The United States) is still "good", but unfortunately we have not figured out how to stop the commies (dumycratics) from cheating elections.  I would favor a death penalty for anyone caught cheating and absolutely no electronic vote counting.  Yeah, I know there is no way to have a fair legal election, but maybe a few hung out to dry might give the cheaters something to think about.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

BOTH SIDES have cheated on elections in the past and it is expected that cheating will persist into the future.  Regardless, I will continue to VOTE my conscience AND go to church, because to not do both is to give up and give in, which I shall never do voluntarily.
