Trump A 2024 Lame Duck President?
« on: August 01, 2023, 02:34:35 PM »
Indeed, he would be "The Grim Reaper" of Congressional corruption, and The Bad Karma to the alfabet agencies.

The terror in DC is genuine in congress and theDOJ because Trump not only would be a lame duck president, he would be absolutely fearless in draining a cess pool/swamp.

"he would be absolutely fearless in draining a cess pool/swamp."

I'm sure that is true. If he could just keep his mouth shut, he could be a great president.

Well I can't argue with that. The old Ron White line: he has the right to remain silent, but lacks the ability.

None of his mouthing has ever bothered me.
He got things done, or at least tried.

All the people that I personally know that
didn't like DJT didn't like him because of the
"YOU'RE FIRED "  television show

Whatever happened to sticks and stones etc. ?

Personally, I don't care for all the rinos that
stay quiet for fear of rocking the boat and
messing up their personal sweetheart deals.
I think we need more loudmouth people in
DC that aren't afraid to rock the boat

The results of almost all his original appointees showcase what bad judgement he has. If I recall didn't he claim he would only appoint the best and the brightest? From picking Pence as a running mate to Bill Barr. How did that work out for him?

“How did that work out for him”? GuzziJohn

Suppose ‘cankles’ would have fit the bill for you? Clintons and Bidens, the epitome of corruption. Everything wrong with this country. Prove me wrong.

missing the point....or, at least, losing it?
Notice that the focus of the thread changes after Guzzi's question in #4. instead of being about Trump, the thread becomes about Guzzi and Biden. Instead of answering the question in post 4, the focus is shifted to Biden and his weaknesses. The comments about Biden may all be justified but they have nothing to do with Trump and his occasionally intemperate speech.

You seem to have also missed the point, or at least, lost it.

The thread wasn't about Trumps occasional intemperate speech either. It was about he being a "lame duck president" and cleaning up congress in his final 4 years in the white house.

Each cobbled up indictment strengthens my resolve to vote for him. I think he was the best  president since Ronald Reagan. Even if you don’t like him, the fact that the communists are scared to death of him should be enough to put him back in office.

I agree completely. Trump's mouth never bothered me. He cared about the health of America, and thats all that mattered to me. All these people that said trump is mean, and Trump sends mean tweets voted for a Marxist instead. I hope they are liking what they got.

People in 2023 can't cope with adversity
can't endure the least discomfort
Can't tie knots that were taught in the BSA
6 decades + ago to 10 year old boys
Can't properly cut up and cook their animals
or fish when they manage to bag one
I know of many that have professed to have
been "bored " while hunting, fishing, or camping.
That's beyond my understanding
I surely wouldn't continue to pursue a
hobby that "bored " me.

I sure never let DJT get under my skin with
"Tweets "
Probably because I eschew all these social
media platforms that everybody practically
lives on today. If it weren't for farcebook
or yoofloob or some of that, I don't know
what most of my relatives would do with
their lives

You are correct. I allowed myself to drift. I apologize.
