  No slam against Texas... such idiots are found everywhere..  I am just concerned that such clowns make hunters/gun owners look like irresponsible
    jerks. Some folks out there who are astride the political fence, may decide that ALL gun owners are similarly irresponsible, and turn against us.

  Consider the signs..when fired upon, what is the track of the bullet?  Why, alongside the road..where houses are built, and kids are walking upon coming home fro school or fishing..
  That 25 mph sign, may indicate a built up area, with bullets tracking alongside the road.. how can anyone be so STUPID ?

  For anyone doing this dirty deed..perhaps loss of gun/hunting rights for an extended period, would be correct..

Folks have been shootin road signs ever since there has been road signs.  Why do they do it? Hell, I don't know,  it's just sumthin some folks do.
In my part of the world its almost never done around populated areas, but it's just sumthin younger folks can't seem to resist.

As to my thinking the thread was a slam on Texas? No, that was a joke, every state has sign shooters.
