Gas going up...
« on: August 21, 2023, 03:00:51 AM »
   economic consultant on Newsmax this morning..  Gas will soon be over $4 in most states, $5 in California.  By cutting back our petro sales, Biden is costing Americans $160,000,000 PER DAY !

   The fake news keeps saying how Biden "approves" more drilling permits than Trump did.  FDon't let the lying 'crats hand you that line, he only approves permits that atre not worth drilling on.

     Allowing permits, is not the equivalent of actual drilling and oil production.

More drilling won’t help. Heat waves (wonder what’s causing them?) have kept refineries from running at full capacity.

Gas on the West Coast is almost $5 every where. That's why I mostly use our plug-in hybrid when I run errands.

Average gas prices now in Arkansas and Texas are  3.476  per gal.
Here in Oregon, we pay 4.716 average. We need to pay more because it costs more to keep these communists Governors in office, than it does conservative governors.

When Biden acquired the election, the price of gas was 2.39 per gal average.
Here in Oregon. Less than 2.00 in some places.

Climate change is a good way to mask the rebellion that is taking place in DC.

Heat waves have nothing to do with gasoline shortage.  Biden used up ALL of our strategic reserves, restricted drilling on government lands as well as offshore.  Now we have no reserves, have to import from the Arabs at a higher cost, and the Saudi's have curbed release of oil.  Get real.  We have always had heat waves in the summers and never a shortage of gasoline.  School has started back in a lot of places and summer vacations are over.  Usually gas goes down in fall because of less traveling for vacations.  Now it is going up.  Lies by the left and tieing everything to "global warming" is getting real old.  There is a 47 year supply of natural gas drilled and capped in Alaska, but environmentalists have held up or stopped pipeline construction for 20 years via the Alaskan Highway.  Canada approved their side, but no, our government wouldn't approve.

There is more oil in Alaska, more in shale formations, and more offshore.  NONE has been drilled off the Florida coast, except on Cuba's side.  Florida is half of the Gulf coast.  From Mobile Bay to Mexico drilling has been done with no permanent beach destruction.  Can't get oil from Canada to refineries in Oklahoma and Texas because they stopped the pipeline construction when it was 80-90% complete.  Enough with the stupidity.  Democrats want Americans to suffer without having any new infrastructure or powerlines in place to handle Electric vehicle charging, or new power stations like nuclear power.  Wind and solar alone cannot do it without giant battery backup systems which are the biggest expense.

I can stand in one place on the ranch I manage and see at least 8 to 10 pump jacks pumping crude oil into tank batteries. All that is here is oil and cattle, and there is plenty of both.

The Biden Rebellion has shut oil production on a large scale down. If heat were a factor, west Texas wouldn't be producing oil right now.

Now for some facts;
US oil production (Aug 2023) is projected to be 12.76 barrels per day a NEW RECORD
World demand is at record levels

I am shocked that US oil companies are NOT selling oil here for less than the world price!!!
Gas prices are based on world oil prices, sorry oil companies don’t give discounts for oil drilled in the US.

Read a Reuters article, refinery's are at 95% of production, which is above average. Talked with my brother earlier, asked him. He has 30 years of working at a refinery experience. Only reason that the refinery would slow down, after the crude is heated and sent up the ''crackers'', as he call's them, it might take longer for the separated gas's to cool off. Gasoline is a vapor when it's refined from the crude, and has to cool off to become a liquid. Reason he figured that gas price's are going up, usually the company's have millions of gallons in reserve for time's just like this. BUT, if your memory kicks in, Scarecrow Joe sold off and depleted much of our reserve. There's your answer, thanks to Biden, less reserve, higher price!!

I am assuming you meant 12.76 million barrels per day.  (You forgot that little mathematical notation.)

Just sayin'.....Roger

DD says;
     "  There is a 47 year supply of natural gas drilled and capped in Alaska, but environmentalists have held up or stopped pipeline construction for 20 years via the Alaskan Highway.  Canada approved their side, but no, our government wouldn't approve. "
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   I sometimes wonder if these are true 'environmentalists"....or are they just more of the Communists who are aiming to take over the country,
  using "climate change" as another one of their excuses for tryingto destroy our economy..
   Itv sure seems as if those millions allegedly coming from China are working on old Joe.  It seems every move he makes, works against our economy and the nation as a whole.
   Exanples?..
How about the queering of our military, $85 billion in military materiel to the Taliban, a couple trillion dollars in debt for "climate change", and
   especially..the destruction of our sovereign borders.. with all kinds of criminals and drugs coming across, in numbers unheard of ever before.
   Many other useless destruction to our economy...
    Recently, while dealing with Iran they laughed at him and rebuffed his efforts, So what did he do?  He hands them $6 billion and leaves..
Thanks GTS225, yes 12.76 million barrels per day a new record.  Again check the world oil price per barrel for a clue as to gas prices…
Trump got more votes in history, than any president. Ever!! And he lost to Biden?? This country, is headed for balkanization. Small areas of the country, are controlling the majority. It wont last much longer. MTG already came out and said that red states should separate from the blue. You keep cheerleading for Joey, and it'll happen much sooner than you expect. We wont have to worry about gas price's, survival will be no. 1.
